1 Issue Date: Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007 BRONCOS FACE RAIDERS; BEGIN STRETCH OF THREE AFC WEST GAMES IN NEXT FOUR WEEKS The Broncos (5-6) begin a stretch of three AFC West games in the next four weeks on Sunday when they visit the Oakland Raiders (3-8). Kickoff at McAfee Coliseum is set for 1:05 p.m. PST. Playing their NFL-leading third overtime game of the season last week, the Broncos lost at Chicago in a contest in which forced four turnovers and posted 430 yards of offense. Despite allowing two special-teams returns for touchdowns in the third quarter, the Broncos held a lead in the final period before Chicago scored the final 17 points, including a touchdown with 28 seconds left in regulation that sent the game into overtime. visits an Oakland squad that snapped a six-game losing streak with a victory at Kansas City last week. The Broncos, who defeated the Raiders in overtime on Sept. 16, are aiming to sweep their season series with Oakland for the third consecutive season and ninth time under Head Coach Mike Shanahan (1995-Pres.) The Broncos five-game winning streak against the Raiders is their second-longest in their 94-game regular-season series with the club., which will play on the road Sunday for the fourth time in the last five weeks, also owns a four-game road winning streak against Oakland that ties for its longest such streak vs. a divisional opponent in club history. During the last three weeks, leads the NFL in rushing yards per game (148.3 ypg.) and takeaways (11) while ranking second in the league in turnover ratio (+7) over that span. The Broncos have forced at least three takeaways in each of their last three games, a streak that is the club s longest in seven years. Second-year quarterback Jay Cutler, who is fourth in the league in yards per pass attempt (7.95) this year, last week played the 16th game of his career.
