1 denver broncos 2006 weekly press release Game #11 (7-3) at Kansas City (6-4) Thursday, Nov. 23, :15 p.m. CST Arrowhead Stadium (79,451) Kansas City, Missouri BRONCOS FACE CHIEFS AT ARROWHEAD STADIUM IN KEY DIVISIONAL THANKSGIVING CLASH The Broncos (7-3) will make an appearance on Thanksgiving for the second consecutive year when they visit the Kansas City Chiefs (6-4) on Thursday. Kickoff at Arrowhead Stadium is set for 7 p.m. CST, and the game will be broadcast on NFL Network. is coming off a home loss to San Diego on Sunday night, a defeat that snapped the Broncos five-game divisional winning streak. The Broncos took a 24-7 lead against the Chargers in the third quarter but were unable to hold on as three LaDainian Tomlinson touchdowns in the final two quarters propelled San Diego to a win and a spot atop the AFC West. Kansas City most recently earned a home win against the Raiders on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium. After losing their first two games of the year, including a 9-6 overtime loss in on Sept. 17, the Chiefs have won six of their last eight games. By playing on Thanksgiving for the second consecutive season, the Broncos will be the first team other than the Cowboys or Lions to play on the holiday in back-to-back years since the Chiefs. The Broncos defeated Dallas in overtime at Texas Stadium last Thanksgiving and have won their last two games on the date (also defeated the Cowboys in 2001). The NFL Network s telecast schedule for the season features five Thursday night games and three Saturday night games from Weeks 12 to 17 of the NFL season. The start time for all eight games is 8 p.m. EST.
