(Crescenta Valley HS) Quickly: Had a great sophomore season earning first-team all-big West honors despite coming off the bench during the year... Should be one of USU s top defensive players (So.): Earned firstteam all-big West honors despite coming off the bench and starting just four games on the year... Was selected as the team s co-sophomore of the year with Jose Fuentes... Was second on the team and fourth in the Big West in tackles with 110, including 61 solo stops... Recorded five tackles for loss and tied for the team lead with two interceptions... Was involved in five turnovers on the year as he also forced two fumbles and recovered one as well as the two interceptions... (Hart HS/LA Valley JC) Quickly: Has been hampered by a shoulder injury, but should provide depth at tight end as well as on special teams (Jr.): Had his season cut short due to a shoulder injury as he played in just six games of the year before being sidelined... However, he did return to play in the season finale against Idaho State... Started against Arizona State and Utah when the Aggies went to a two-tight end lineup... Had two catches on the year, including a 25-yarder against Utah and a three-yard touchdown reception against Idaho State (Hardship): Earned a medical hardship after playing in the first three games of the season before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury... Had two catches for 17 yards, including a 13-yard reception against Utah in the third game of the year. Junior College: Lettered two seasons at Los Angeles Valley Junior College... Injured his thumb in practice the third week of the year and missed the remainder of the season... In the season opener against Texas Tech he completed 16-of-34 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns... In first-half against Southern Utah he was five-of-15 for 27 yards (So.): Started all 11 games at quarterback... Threw for 2,007 yards and 10 touchdowns during the year... Completed 46.8 percent of his passes and also had 17 interceptions... Best game was a 311-yard effort against Brigham Young... Previous College: Spent the 1996 and 1997 seasons at Snow JC where he earned second-team All-America honors as a wide receiver... Also earned first-team all-conference and team most valuable player honors... Served as a team captain as well... As a freshman had 30 catches for 600 yards and five touchdowns... As a sophomore he recorded 55 receptions for 1,100 yards and 19 touchdowns. High School: Was a two-year letterwinner at Bingham... Played wide receiver and in the secondary...
