16 All-Patr atrio iot League Since the first year of the Patriot League in , Bucknell has earned 31 Patriot League postseason honors from 15 different players. The Bison have had nine members of the rookie team, 12 second team awards and 10 first team honorees. Despite the long list of success, just one Bucknell player has ever been named the Patriot League Player of the Year and that was Molly Creamer, the only three-time winner of that award in league history. A native of Mendham, N.J., Creamer was the first player in school or league history to get drafted into the WNBA when she was a first-round pick of the New York Liberty with the 10th overall selection in the 2003 draft. Creamer was also a Kodak/WBCA and Associated Press Honorable Mention All-America as a senior when she averaged a school and league record 27.1 points per game. At the conclusion of her storied career, Creamer owned 22 school records and 13 Patriot League standards, including the career scoring record of 2,462 points for a career average of 21.0 points per game. Along with her scoring prowess, Creamer was also an unselfish player as she totaled 593 assists in her career, second on Bucknell s all-time list. Creamer led the Patriot League in scoring and assists an unprecedented three consecutive years. Her single-game high was a 14-assist performance against Lehigh as a junior. Also as a junior, Creamer helped lead the Bison to their first-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
