2 TEAM REGISTRATION & WAIVER LIABILITY To protect World Male Netball, Inc., the Estero Recretional Center (the Center), Lee County Sports Development (LCSD) and its agents and all persons involved in and sponsoring the tournament described below from all lawsuits, insurance claims and from all other claims and demands in any form/forum whether grounded in tort or contract or any other theory. All participants, including players, managers, coaches and umpires furnished by teams are required to sign this release. No person will be allowed to participate without voluntarily signing this release. I attest by my signature below as a player/manager/umpire/coach in the World Male Netball Club Championship 2018, do hereby now and forever release, acquit, and discharge completely World Male Netball, Inc., the Center, LCSD and its agents and all other persons involved in organizing, sponsoring and managing the tournament from any and all liability for injury or injuries suffered from or in connection with the tournament whether arising through participation, preparation for, or in the course of events following the tournament. I also authorize any recording of games as the propriety property of World Male Netball, Inc. 5 TOURNAMENT RULES THE TOURNAMENT IS GOVERNED BY THE INTERNATIONAL NETBALL FEDERATION RULES IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FOLLOWING: 1) Each team shall consist of at least 5 players and a maximum of 12 players. 2) Each player can only be registered and play for ONE team for the duration of the tournament. 3) Tournament entry deadline is midnight August 31, 2018 Eastern Standard Time (EST). 4) An opening ceremony will be held at 9.00 AM, Friday October 5, Each participating team MUST have available at least 5 players in uniform to participate in the opening ceremony. 5) Games start at 9.30 AM each day of the tournament. Game duration shall be decided based on the number of teams responding positively to the invitation but will be no less than 40 minutes each game. 6) Teams should be adorned in uniform that mirrors basketball style uniform. 7) Format of the tournament will be decided based on the number of teams that enter. Updated information relating to the format will be made available by September 15, ) Each team will be provided with a match fixtures which will indicate your team s game schedule which will be strictly followed. 9) All matches in a round will begin at the same time. Central time-keeping will signal the beginning of each round. There will be Individual match scoring and time-keeping subsequent to the beginning of the round. 10) Individual match timekeeper s signal shall indicate the end of quarters, half time and the end of each match. 11) At the end of each quarter teams shall change ends. 12) Teams who are not present on the court for their scheduled game will forfeit the points; if both teams are not present, the match will be declared null and void after 2 minutes. 13) The umpires decision is final and will be given without appeal. 14) Each team shall provide an umpire who will be placed in a pool of umpires and will be required to umpire matches that does not include the team that they are associated with. Failure to provide an umpire will result in a fee of US$150.00, subsequent to which one will be provided for you. An individual playing in the tournament will not be allowed to be an umpire in the tournament. 15) The umpires for teams that advance to the quarter final, semi-final and final rounds will not umpire in those rounds. 16) Points will be awarded as follows Win 3 points; Draw 1 point; Loss 0 point. 17) At each decision point (except for the quarter-final and semi-final round where there shall be a clear winner) if there is a draw on points, goal average will be used to break the tie, if there is a tie on goal average, goal difference will be used to reach a conclusion. For the quarter-final and semi-final round, five minutes of extra time will be played in two halves of two and a half minutes each, with teams changing ends at the expiration of the first two and a half minutes without any stoppage time.

6 TOURNAMENT RULES (continued) 18) Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded. 19) The Most Valuable Player - (the player who makes a difference in his team s progress throughout the tournament). The winner will be selected by the tournament s organizers. 20) Absolutely no level of indiscipline will be tolerated. The tournament organizers reserves the right to expel an individual(s) or team(s) from the tournament for unsportsmanlike behavior. No refunds will be given to team(s) suspended from the tournament. FOR ANY UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCE(S) THAT MAY ARISE DURING THE TOURNAMENT, THE DECISION AS TO THE DISPOSITION OF THE CIRCUMSTANCE(S) WILL BE SOLELY THAT OF THE TOURNAMENT ORGANIZERS.
