5 CLIPPERS TOP NOTES ALMOST, BUT NOT QUITE: Forward Blake Griffin fell just shy of a triple-double in the Clippers loss to Charlotte on Oct. 10, logging 13 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds in 27:50 minutes. Griffin has logged four career regular season triple-doubles (3/23/11 vs. WSH, 4/13/11 vs. MEM, 3/6/13 vs. MIL & 4/3/14) and three in the postseason (4/22/15 vs. SAS, 5/2/15 vs. SAS & 5/4/15 at HOU). Griffin is one of only three forwards since 1985 to record three triple-doubles in a single postseason. The other two (L. James & L. Bird- 1986) not only won the NBA Championship, but were also named MVP of the NBA Finals.
