Trycinski: The Pictionary games before our home games. van Leeuwen: Marybeth s poems on the bus. My sister surprising me for my birthday at a team dinner. The whole team knew she was going to be there except me. What s your favorite thing about being a Terp? Ciconte: Always being challenged and forced to raise the bar. Fox: The support we give each other, to other Terp teams and the support we get from the alumni, administration and coaches. Infante: Our new locker room. Long: Definitely my teammates. They are the best! Jones: The wonderful camaraderie between the coaching staff and the athletes. It is unlike this anywhere else in the world. I LOVE being a Terp. Restivo: The spirit of the UMD community. Trycinski: My teammates because we are such an awesome group and possibly the funniest people I know! Powley: Spending time with teammates. Ziegler: Knowing that no matter how hard I try, and how well I play, there s always someone better, which gives me the incentive to work even harder to become a champion. Favorite Coach Meharg quote. Beach: Pass and move, and pass and move Beveridge: Off and running. Fox, Powley: TAP TAP Infante: The way you do one thing is the way you do everything else. Favorite Coach Freeman quote. Restivo: Make sure you have everything gloves, helmet, jerseys, and, my grandmother can move faster than you! I chose Maryland because Grater: It has great academics, a great hockey team and it s in a great location! Keeley: Of its outstanding field hockey program and the opportunities to further my education. Ott: I really enjoy the atmosphere and the coaching staff. Powell: It is very diverse, the student body has great school spirit, UMD is strong academically and oh yeah, it has an amazing field hockey team! Rowe: Everyone was so friendly to me when I came to visit and I loved facilities. Nothing in England can compare. If I wasn t playing field hockey, I d be Beveridge: Playing music. Grater: I couldn't live without field hockey! Probably pursuing another sport. Masson: I'd be a body builder... just kidding. I'd be playing squash at home trying to convince people that it's cool. van Leeuwen: a basketball player. Not because I've played before (because I haven't), but just because of my height.
