3 FOREWORD For the past 15 years we have successfully bred cattle of show quality. It has been our policy to only show young stock which we have bred. The herd is derived form 5 Netherton Foundation stock, namely Evita, Belle, Frances, Pam and Missie and some recent Canadian Embryo Imports and also having successfully bred from the Fleur Bloodline. From these we have produced some impressive stock from our small Rull herd. Attention to detail is at the forefront with regards to confirmation & health. The herds real success came from the purchase of Muirhall Top Deal, full ET brother to Muirhall Real Deal. That bull produced for us strong cattle with excellent feet, locomotion and good confirmation with neat udders. As age has slowed us down, temperament was also important to us. These are good natured cattle and well handled. (The real deal bloodline from Young Dale, Canada is still hitting the headlines with Shadwell Black Broughton winning the Royal Highland Show 2015) It is with tremendous sadness that the final lines of stock are going under the hammer. Continual bouts of ill health have forced us to sell up entirely. We are offering some great cattle with some outstanding bloodlines. She is the Dam of Rull Fusion (164) who won Champion at numerous Calf Shows during 2014 and then went onto win Reserve Male Champion 2015 at the NEC Summer Calf Show and numerous other prizes during 2015 both nationally and regionally. The Frances family have been one of the most successful families in the breed producing more Royal and Royal Highland Show Champions than any other family. This family originates from Canada with the purchase of Cee Bar Favourite who herself was a Royal Highland and Royal Champion and the only Royal Show Champion Female to produce a Royal Show Champion;then her daughter Netherton Frances E10 also went on to win the Royal. The sons of this family have had a great impact in the breed with the most famous being Netherton Figo who was a Perth Champion and the first bull in 40 years to sell for over 30,000 guineas. This family have been great breeders of males. Rull Francis 65 produced the National Show Calf Champion Rull Frances 92, who was taken to Carlisle and despite stiff opposition won the English Heifer Calf Championship and was subsequently sold to a Berwickshire farmer for 6,000 guineas at the tender age of 9 months.

Pollyanna was the 2006 Supreme Champion Over All Breeds at Edmonton Farm Fair and won major shows right from when she was named Little Lady Classic All Breeds Champion in Brandon Ag- Ex as a calf. Pollyanna 22P s offspring have won Grand Champion Female at Manitoba Ag Ex 07. She is a neat cow with a great confirmation and is gentle.

Rull Baron (a Belle son) won Supreme Champion at Carlisle Bull sales Rull Baron was an extremely successful show animal winning many accolades in the ring. Fleur females have bred exceptionally well over the years and include Netherton Fleur Y298 who sold for the breed s then record of 20,000 guineas in Netherton Fleur D334 (Fleurs Grandmother) won the senior cow and calf class at the 2010 Royal Highland Show and then went on to take the best cow championship, overall female championship and overall supreme championship. Netherton Fleur D334 s daughter Netherton Fleur G413 continued in her dams footsteps by winning three Supreme Championships in 2010

9 and the cow and calf championship at the Winter National before being sold privately for 25,000 in Netherton Fleur L644 (ET) was purchased from Netherton in 2012 and has bred some of our show winners over the later years. Y228 is the great great grandmother of Rull Missie P170. Rull Missie P170 is also a Netherton Big Edition daughter who we purchased from Netherton during 2013.

16 Young Dale Xcaliber 32X is a proven sire whose genetics have had outstanding success and his popularity has increased year over year. Most notably Xcaliber sired the $146,000 Canadian record selling bull, Young Dale Believe, who was a highlight of the 2015 spring bull sales. This was followed up at the 2016 NWSS where Xcaliber sired all three members of Frey Angus Ranch s Champion Pen of Angus Bulls. He is a high growth sire that is in the top 1% for both WW and YW EPD in the Canadian and American registries. This is combined with the overall visual quality of his progeny that are powerful individuals with muscle shape, eye appeal and extra hair. 17 The Pam family that we have up for sale originate from the herds foundation cow. The first cow was purchased from Netherton in The Pam family can be traced back to before World War One and produced many winners and bulls selling for up to 13,000 guineas in the past. We have had great success with the Pam family and Rull Pam 172 s grandmother, Rull Pam J101, was one of our must decorated females in the show ring over her showing career. Her bloodline goes back to Netherton Trendy Man who has produced very correct cattle, mixed with Netherton Big Edition breeding, Pam 172 will go on to produce some fantastic thick set progeny.

Evita 127 sold in Carlisle October 2015 for 5,000 guineas. Evita 176 comes from an outstanding family and would be a great start or addition to any herd.

NETHERTON LADY JANE C240 The Lady Jane family originates from Ireland when Netherton purchased Hillsgrove Nan in 1981 after she was champion at Carrick-on-Shannon. Hillsgrove Nan was the dam of Netherton Lord James who was supreme champion in Perth in 1986 and Netherton Lady Jane F50 female champion at both the Royal Highland and Royal Shows in Another female from this powerful family was Netherton Lady Jane 011 who won 11 championships in 1994 including the Royal Show. She then went on to breed Netherton Lord Jolt who was reserve male champion at the Royal Show in 1994 and was then retained as a stock bull at Netherton where he bred bulls to 5000gns and heifers to 7000gns. In 2000 Netherton Lady Jane X13 was supreme champion at the Royal Highland Show and a further six breed championships that year. Shown 16 times in two years as a heifer, she won her class 15 times and sold for an undisclosed figure to Jerusalem. A daughter of Lady Jane X13, Netherton Lady Jane C240 was sold to Dunira for 12,000 in 2008 after being a top donor cow for us. She also bred Netherton Lord Jordan F402. The Lady Jane family has consistently bred good bulls for Netherton and many have been sold into herds as stock bulls including Netherton Lord James who sold for 5000gns to Saltersgate; Netherton Lord Joe sold to Cragg for 5000gns; Netherton Lord Jonny sold for 5000gns to

21 Attwell; Netherton Lord Jack sold to Warren then Fyfie; and Netherton Lord Jupiter was reserve junior champion at Perth in 2005 and sold for 11,000gns to Linburn. Calves from Netherton Lord Jordan F402 have topped performance tests on the farms he was used on in Australia.
