4 MAKKA PAKKA Rawburn Makka Pakka is the most complete bull ever bred at Rawburn. His own performance is staggering, recording a 400-day weight of 820Kgs with an actual birth weight of only 44Kgs. His breedplan figures are as complete as you can find in the breed. His Terminal and Self Replacing Indexes are the highest of any bull born in the UK in Although the phenotype and performance of Makka Pakka is impressive, what really makes him so complete is his inherent maternal and fertility. His Dam, Rawburn Morning Princess, is the best cow in the herd. She gave birth to her first calf at 22 months old and has since had a further five calves, all in the first cycle of our breeding season. She is a model Angus cow! 10 RAWBURN FIREBRAND Although we have bred many good sons of Rawburn Elysium, until now, we have not bred a son that we felt could surpass the great bull. Rawburn Firebrand is a potent combination of showring and performance genetics. His Dam is the result of an embryo from highly proven North American genetics. She is the most decorated show cow ever in Denmark, winning the National Championship twice. 14 BLACK HAWK In the history of the Rawburn herd, no bull has stood out from his contemporary group more than Black Hawk L261. His combination of performance, pedigree and eye appeal were unrivalled within the herd and justified his position as the most valuable bull we have ever sold. At 11½ months old Black Hawk sold for 40,000 to the Linton Gilbertines herd.
