1 TURKEY CALLING CONTEST - AMATEUR DIVISION Due to time constraints, a combination of local/national NWTF calling contest rules is in use. All of the contest rules have been approved by the NWTF for use. Any requested/suggested changes to contest rules/ages/sequence, etc. may be addressed following the contest for incorporation the 1. Contestants must register between 10:00am and 12:00pm, Saturday, Sept. 6, in Building Y. 2. Amateur designation is a contestant who has never won or placed in any calling contest. 3. Entry Fee is $ MUST be a NWTF member. 4. Contestants must be in Building Y by 12:30pm and be seated in the contestants section. 5. Each contestant will be given a number and will be invited to the front by his or her number. 6. Contestants can use either mouth or friction calls. 7. Contestants shall not talk while calling. Calling shall be in this order: c. Plain Hen Yelps 8. Amateur Turkey Calling Contest scored on a 20-1 basis. 9. In case of a tie, winner will be decided on the basis of points scored on the Caller s Best Call. After, Best Call, callers will work up call order c-b-a until the tie is broken. 10. Awards for Amateur Adult Division: 1 st Place - Trophy 2 nd Place - Trophy 3 rd Place Trophy

2 TURKEY CALLING CONTEST - PROFESSIONAL OPEN DIVISION 1. Contestants must be age 21 or older to participate in the Professional Open Division Turkey Calling Contest. 2. Contestants must register between 10:00am and 12:00pm, Saturday, Sept. 6, in Building Y. 3. Contestants can enter ONLY the Amateur OR the Professional Pennsylvania Turkey Calling Contest. 4. Entry Fee is $ MUST be a NWTF member. 7. Contestants can use either mouth or friction calls. 8. Contestants shall not talk while calling. Calling shall be in this order: c. Assembly Call d. Kee-Kee Run 9. Professional Turkey Calling Contest scored on a 20-1 basis. 10. In case of a tie, winner will be decided on the basis of points scored on the Kee-Kee Run. After, Kee-Kee, callers will work up call order c-b-a until the tie is broken. 11. Those entering this Pro Contest are still eligible to call in the Owl Hooting and/or Friction Contests. 12. Awards for Professional Open Division: 1 st Place - $250 and Trophy 2 nd Place - $150 and Trophy 3 rd Place $50 and Trophy

3 TURKEY CALLING CONTEST - PROFESSIONAL FRICTION DIVISION 1. Contestants must be age 21 or older to participate in the Professional Open Division Turkey Calling Contest. 2. Contestants must register between 10:00am and 12:00pm, Saturday, Sept. 6, in Building Y. 3. Contestants can enter ONLY the Friction and or Pro Open/Owl. 4. Entry Fee is $ MUST be a NWTF member. 7. Contestants can use only friction calls. 8. Contestants shall not talk while calling. Calling shall be in this order: c. Assembly Call 9. Professional Turkey Calling Contest scored on a 20-1 basis. 10. In case of a tie, winner will be decided on the basis of points scored on the Caller s Best Call. After, Best Call, callers will work up call order c-b-a until the tie is broken. 11. Awards for Professional Friction Division: 1 st Place - $200 and Trophy 2 nd Place - $100 and Trophy 3 rd Place $50 and Trophy

4 TURKEY CALLING CONTEST - YOUTH INTERMEDIATE AGE DIVISION 1. Contestants must register between 10:00am and 12:00pm, Saturday, Sept. 6, in Building Y. 2. In Youth Division, contestant can use Mouth and/or Friction Calling. 3. Youth Intermediate Age requirements are age Youth Division Contestants cannot enter the Amateur or Professional contests. (Be prepared to show identification of age.) 4. Entry Fee is $ MUST be a NWTF member. 7. Contestants shall not talk while calling. Calling shall be in this order: a. Cluck b. Purr c. Hen Yelps 8. Youth Division Calling Contest scored on a 20-1 basis. 9. In case of a tie, winner will be decided on the basis of points scored on the Caller s Best Call. After, Best Call, callers will work up call order c-b-a until the tie is broken. 10. Awards for Youth Division: 1 st Place - Trophy 2 nd Place Trophy 3 rd Place - Trophy

NOTE: Only participants age 21 and older may use this contest as a feeder for Nationals as applicable. All may enter and win prizes. 2. Entry fee will be $ Must be a NWTF member. 3. Contestants must register between 10:00am and 12:00pm, in Building Y. 4. The Owl Hooting Contest will be held in Building Y. 5. Contestants must be in Building Y by 12:30pm and be seated in the contestant s section. 6. Owl Hooting is scored on a 50-1 per call basis. 7. Awards for Owl Hooting: 1 st Place - $100 and Trophy 2 nd Place - $75 and Trophy 3 rd Place - $50 and Trophy
