1 Welcome to the Nineth Annual Buy the BEEF Bull Sale We are very pleased to present our nineth JAS Red Angus Bull Sale. We are delighted to have Sunset Ridge Red Angus join us as guest consignors once again. In an effort to provide you with the very best we select the top end for yearlings and two year olds. We hand select some great bulls to keep back for two year olds to provide you with an older bull that can cover more cows. We are very proud of the product on offer and you can have absolute confidence in it. We are sad to have the sudden passing of our main herdsman Jack Nelson. He was a main part of our operation for a lot of years and will be greatly missed. We would like to welcome Evan Dyck into the operation. High quality cattle are still commanding premiums, and now is a great time to invest in high quality bulls to put more pounds on your calves and more dollars in your pockets. 18 TERMS & CONDITIONS TERMS: The terms sale are cash or cheque payable at par in Canadian funds. All settlement must be made with the clerk of the sale before any cattle will be released. BIDS: Every animal entering the sale ring will be sold to the highest bidder. DISPUTES: In case of disputes, bidding will be re-opened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer s decision of all disputes is final. ANNOUNCEMENTS: All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to any such announcements. PURCHASER S RISK: Each animal becomes the risk of the producer as soon as sold. INSURANCE: An Insurance agent will be present on sale day. ACCIDENTS: Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of the buyers, neither the sale management nor the auctioneer assume any responsibility in this matter and disclaim any liability, legal or otherwise, in the event of accident or loss of property. Should your bull fail to be a satisfactory breeder, he will be replaced with a bull of equal value or a credit will be given towards the purchase of another bull from that contributor. We will not provide replacement or credit for physical injury or mismanagement. At no time shall the seller s liability exceed the purchase price of the bull.
