2 Welcome... We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Kuntz Farms Red Angus & Guest Bull Sale with guest consignor Hollinger Land & Cattle. In the past we have been selling bulls directly off the farm, through Moose Jaw and the Regina Bull Sale, although each one was good to us, we have decided to go a new avenue. While selling at the RBS our most proud accomplishment was winning Supreme Champion two consecutive years, something that has only been done once in its 108 year history. At Kuntz Farms we value our repeat customers and we are pleased to hear about the weights of their calves selling at the markets with great success. Your resulting success inspires us to keep improving. It is an exciting time in the cattle business. All aspects of the beef business have been very positive for the last year and seem to be holding for the near future. With the snow fall we have had there should be an abundance of hay and pasture this year. This could possibly be the year to purchase that extra bull power with young bulls with new genetics, prices for slaughter bulls being higher than ever. We are very happy with the offering of bulls for sale. The bulls are hand fed and therefore have a good temperament. The visitors that viewed the bulls this winter commented What a uniform group of bulls. The bulls are on the Canadian Angus Performance Program with a large number of bulls having huge EPD s and the conformation to go with it. We strive for that well rounded breeder that will last in your herd, will have calving ease yet still have performance to produce growthy calves that are easy fleshing. Following one of the highlight Retirement Sales of the 2012 season, this 1 st time endeavor is handed off to the next generation with Jack & Gail s son Clint taking on the livestock responsibilities. For many years the Kuntz family was present at the bull sales in the area. Their success showing and selling these popular Red Angus bulls holds many fond memories, accomplishments and bull customers. The Regina Bull Sale became the focal point; having shown the Supreme Champion Bull two years running. Today their efforts are a result of the exceptional cow herd that they developed using strict guidelines for both performance and fertility. Furthermore the use of AI has produced a great set of Real Deal calves, who were the center of attention at the Retirement Sale. Once again they will be the feature of this 1 st Annual Bull Sale. Another young and up and coming cattleman, Chad Hollinger, is joining Clint to offer an impressive set of Black Angus bulls. Heading up his offering is an impressive son of none other than Bada Bing ; this calf was certainly popular with the visitors at the NWSS in Denver. The sale is going to be a video auction in their new sale facility on the farm. Bulls will be filmed and shown on a screen. The bulls will actually be in pens just a short way from the comfort of the sale barn. Do come early and view the bulls, make your selections and watch them being offered on screen. A regular auction process, following a sale order, will take place. Remember the hospitality before the sale, the comfort and the selection process that you will be able to follow.
