1 2018 Junior and Open Cattle Entry Form Before completing this entry form, please review all rules, regulations and provisions contained in the 2018 American Royal Livestock Show Premium Book. This includes but is not limited to the Code of Ethics, Rules of Liability, Drug Testing, and the USDA Wholesome Meat Act. All entries must be postmarked by September 14, 2018 to be accepted without a late fee. Junior Heifer Exhibitors may enter as many Junior Heifers as they would like. If you plan to enter more than 8 heifers, an additional entry form will be required. If substitutions must be made, please fill out the Breeding Cattle Substitution Form found under the Premium Book section of the website. 13 Open Cattle #10 - Information Running Total Terms and Conditions I hereby make application to enter the described entries at the American Royal Livestock Show subject to all provisions contained in the 2018 American Royal Livestock Show Premium Book, which I certify I have read and understand. I agree to abide by and be governed by the provisions of the 2018 Premium Book, including but not limited to the Code of Ethics, Rules of Liability, Drug Testing, and the USDA Wholesome Meat Act. I certify to the best of my knowledge that feed consumed by my livestock has not contained animal by-products according to FDA Directive and that the animals do not have an illegal level of drugs in their system. Requests for Refunds Requests for refunds must be submitted to the American Royal and are subject to a $20 cancellation fee. Entry fees including bedding, vehicle pass, grooming chute, fitting stand, and exhibitor badge fees will not be refunded after September 14th, There will be no refunds made on transactions under $10. The amount to be refunded may not be used as a credit toward a future event. Cancellation Policy In case of cancellation of the contest or unavailability of the event due to any causes that are beyond the American Royal s control, including, without limitation, such causes as war, governmental action or order, act of God, fire, flood, severe storm, strike, labor disputes, or other similar causes ( Force Majeure Event ), this Agreement shall terminate, and the Contestant shall be entitled to the return of the fees for the Contest, less the prorated share allocated to the American Royal of the expenses incurred by the Royal in connection with the event as of the date of the Force Majeure Event. Refund of the Fees as provided in this section shall be the exclusive remedy of the Contestant against the American Royal in case the contest is cancelled or rescheduled through a Force Majeure Event. In the event of 13

14 cancellation or unavailability for reasons beyond the control of the American Royal, Contestant releases and holds all claims for damage and agrees that the American Royal shall have no obligation except the above stated refund. The generosity of our supporters and events like the barbecue allow us to give $1 million annually for youth scholarships and support agriculture education programs. Please consider making a donation to ensure the continued success of our educational mission. The American Royal Association is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit and your gift may qualify as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes. Your receipt for this transaction will serve as the letter of donation from the American Royal. Please retain for your records, additional documentation will not be supplied.
