As time went on we realized there needed to be a realignment of sorts at Brost Land & Cattle Co. The idea of a female reduction was entertained, however with the drought, as well as the thought of selling a lifetime of work and achievement, a different plan was developed. We are real happy with this year s offering. The depth of thickness and soundness is exceptional. Those wanting pigment, there should be plenty to choose from. All sale cattle were treated with Ivomec in the fall. The bred heifers were pregnancy examined on August 24th, T E R M S & C O N D I T I O N S TERMS Terms are cash or cheque sale day unless prior arrangements have been made. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made. No invoices will be provided for buyers in attendance unless prior arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in case of disputes, the auctioneer s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds. PEDIGREES Each purebred animal will carry a registration paper issued by the Canadian Hereford Association. A registration certificate will be duly transferred to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made. TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP Proper transfer instructions must be provided at the conclusion of the sale. Extensions will be granted on order bids only. Cost incurred due to incorrect transfer information will be borne by the purchaser. Ownership will not be transferred until full settlement has been made. GUARANTEE Each animal becomes the purchaser s risk immediately after the animal is sold. Females have been pregnancy tested safe and are considered breeders without any further guarantee. Bull calves, if failing to become breeders, will be replaced or credit given for the purchase of a replacement. LIABILITY All persons attend the sale at their own risk.
