2 GENERAL INFORMATION SALE DAY PHONE: or TERMS: All sales are cash or cheque payable to Balog Auction Service BIDS: The highest bidder will be the buyer. The Auctioneer will settle any disputes as to bids. Should any purchaser fail to settle for his purchase, the Club reserves full power to resell the animal without further intimation, and any loss arising from such resale, together with keep and other expense, will be collected from the defaulter. RISK: Immediately after each purchase is declared, the risk of the animal shall be exclusively with the purchaser and it is declared that until a settlement shall be made in the terms of those conditions, the delivery of the animal will be suspended. LIABILITY: All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk. The ECHC, contributors and Balog Auction Service assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that may occur. GUARANTEE: All bulls have been semen tested by a qualified veterinarian and only satisfactory potential breeders will be sold in the sale. All bulls sell under the Canadian Hereford Association Breeding Guarantee. Individual consignors may provide further guarantees with their offering. The ECHC acts as agent only in the sale of bulls consigned to the East Central Bull Sale and is not responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. STALL CARDS: Sale weight, weight per day of age and scrotal measurements will be posted. Additional information regarding performance will be available from the contributors. TRANSFER OF PEDIGREES: The buyer will be provided with a pedigree properly transferred on the books of the Canadian Hereford Association. A later born bull, 208E is a Sprint son from a Lone Pine cow. Sprint sired calves are heavier muscled and have good performance from birth to weaning. 208E is a little framier than most Sprint calves. 4
