Last year was our first video Sale and it went over really well, and those of you who made it to the Bull Sale after the biggest blizzard of the season we THANK YOU! We have ordered better weather for this year! We are always thankful to our customers for giving our program a chance to work in theirs and for coming back year after year with solid support. We strive for these traits on every herd bull we select, and feel our commitment to this should help you, the rancher, produce predictable and profitable cattle from MJT genetics. The cows can wean a calf crop under almost any conditions and still make you a profit. cattle are sold with the standard breeds guarantee plus our own 100% guarantee we strive to have a good relationship with our customers and to be #1 on service. We know sometimes things go wrong with bulls and if yours should, we will have another bull in your pasture to breed your cows. At MJT we have been in the Bull Business for many years and this is our 22nd sale at home. Although our numbers are smaller now in the sale our quality and selection is still good, and we know good cattle can sell themselves. We are confident in our bulls and know there is no substitute for quality. MJT bulls are not pampered and are raised right from the beginning to stay sound and athletic and are ready to go to work for the rancher. The majority of our bulls are calved at the pasture in the spring. 0% of MJT sale bulls have had their feet trimmed and all of our Herd Sires are sound footed. If they can t walk there is no place for them in a breeding program. The most significant concern of any rancher is the profit he makes from his cows. We feel that having kept the basics in the cattle industry in mind our genetics at MJT should produce cattle that can put profit in your jeans. We will be happy to show you the bulls, their sires and dams at anytime. If you are unable to attend the sale but have previously selected your bull you can bid on line with DLMS, on the phone with Mick or Kurt or one of our sale staff. We do have sight unseen and we will do our best, but if you are not satisfied, you are not required to purchase the bull. We stake our reputation on selling cattle that work for the rancher. Birth weights and weaning weights are recorded and all bulls have been haltered and are semen tested. We have worked to build a reputation for ourselves and our cattle and sell every bull with confidence. There is many ups and downs in the cattle business, but there is one thing that never changes the many ranchers and their families we have had the privilege to get to know and call our friends. 2

Calving EASE We have several customers who take home our bulls for use on their first calvers. We decided to make a system to help you when choosing your next heifer bull. This system is based on the following 1. BW in lbs. 2. Consistency of BW of sire 3. Consistency of BW of dam 4. Consistency of calving ease of both sire and dam. (eg. build of calf) Always keep in mind 50% of your calf s BW relates back to his mother.
