Our bulls offer thickness, rib, shape, soundness, and plenty of testicle and hair but we also take pride in our performance. There are some factors which I believe are valuable to you the customer when it comes to buying a Double 'F' bull. The Feige family holds a long standing history in the cattle business originally with Herefords and in the last 15 years the Angus breed has come to the forefront as they have become a force in marketing Angus cattle not only in the Prince Albert area but across the country. Secondly the calves that are bred at Double 'F' are out of their walking sires, this means a strong herdbull battery must be waiting in the wings for the cows to further solidify the genetics that not only become the backbone of their herd but become the bulls which you purchase to anchor your herds genetics. Countless hours are spent scouring the countryside, sale catalogs along with many phone conversations are invested in the pursuit of the next bull to fit into the genetic puzzle. Best of all you the customer can not only tour the cowherd to understand the genetics you are purchasing but also the sires to the bulls on offer! Impressive is just one of the words to be used when it comes to the bull pen, these guys are meat machines that carry excellent hair coats, length of spine, performance that accompany a sound set of feet and legs. When I seen this set of calves last fall just after they were weaned one couldn t help but be impressed with them as a group. I know for one thing, the cows would be happy to get those big strapping calves off the payroll. They are the kind of bulls that will put you in the top cut pens at the calf sales in the fall bringing that premium price. We ve seen a positive trend that last couple falls that there was more money put in your pocket with the heavy calves at the market, these bulls will help you reach this goal..
