4 ARRIVAL VENUE LOCATION: Sunland Greenland, No.628, Qifan Road, Pudong District, Shanghai. This is the second time that Spartan Race take place in Shanghai. Sunland Greenland is a scenic venue to host Spartan Sprint which is located in Gaohang Town, Pudong District to host. You can expect to experience a variety of sceneries when you race, including all different terrains. In the Spartan tribe, you will find an obstacles experience zone. We believe Spartan Shanghai race will be full of challenges and fun. See you on the race day. Aroo!

5 PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: SUBWAY: ARRIVAL To get to the venue, you may take the subway line 6 to Zhouhai Road Station or take line 12 to Jufeng Road Station and then change to line 6. The ZhouhaiRoad Station is just 900 meters away from the venue. Please follow the instructions that will be shown by volunteers.

6 ARRIVAL PARKING(Parking lot is limited, so we suggest you to take public transportation): Sunland International Parking Lot: Using GPS to navigate to SUNLAND INTERNATIONAL(No.999,Zhouhai Road, Pudong District.) which has ground parking lot and underground garage.

8 PRE-RACE Follow the instructions, you will register quickly on the race day. Your bib number and start time will be announced on May 12 nd (Friday) by and text message. Download and Read this Race Guide carefully Download Race Wavier and print it out. Sign the Waiver, and bring it with your ID card on the race day. A signed Waiver and your IDcard are a MUST to ensure you may race DO NOT FOGET YOUR ID/PASSPORT/STUDENT CARD!!

9 RACE DAY REGISTRATION On-site Registration OPENS at 7:30am and CLOSES at 3:00pm. Step 1: Check your bib number and bring race waiver and ID card to the registration area. If you have no waiver or forget your bib number, please go to Wavier and Bib tent. Step 2: Find the Registration tent which matches your bib. Step 3: Racers should hand in signed wavier and ID card to the volunteer before receiving the race bag. Tips: Students should show your student card. If you forget to bring or show invalid information, you have to make up the full bill (RMB499), otherwise you may not get the race envelop. Step 4: Once the Registration is completed, you will get: Bib envelope(bring back home as a souvenir) Headband with your bib number, i.e. your bib. Please wear it during the race so that our staff, volunteers and photographers can identify your number. Your wristband with race time, please wear it all the time. ALL RACERS MUST IN EACH ONE'S DESIGNATED START TIME. Please be in the starting area on time. Timing chip will be tied to the wristband. A Reebok race T-shirt.

11 START TIME We will inform you of your designated start time via . If you are not satisfied with your start time, you can change it through the received . 12 EVENT SERVICE WATER STATION Two water stations are along the course serving pure water and BioSteel. One water station is in the finish area. Supplies are abundant, and you can also bring your own supplies. EVENT SERVICE TIMING SERVICE You will receive a timing chip and wristband to record your time and results. timing chip must be fastened around wrist in order to record your finish time precisely. After the race, you should return the timing chip. You can check your time at the Result tent, or you can check it on the official website in the following days.

13 EVENT SERVICE ON-SITE REGISTRATION Race Day Registration is allowed, and the rate will reflect the current pricing online. EVENT SERVICE FOOD Food and drinks are available on-site, you may pay by cash, WeChat or Alipay.

14 EVENT SERVICE BAG CHECK We provide bag check service. If you want to store your bag, we will write down your bib number on the sticker which on your bag. When you finish the race, please show your bib and fetch your bag. Bag check service will open at 7:30am until the last participant fetch his/her bag. EVENT SERVICE RACE INSURANCE Every athlete will have a personal accident insurance at most 300,000 RMB on the race day which provided by Generali China.

15 EVENT SERVICE SHOWER Shower facilities are on the spot, please bring your own towel. In order to ensure all members have the opportunity to take shower, your shower time is limited to 5 minute for good. For the protection of the river and water source, please do not bring any chemical products, including shampoo, facial cleanser etc. EVENT SERVICE FINISHERS RECEIVE You will get Sprint Finisher Medal, Sprint Finisher T-shirt, raincoat, banana and a can of Biosteel. Every finisher will get a cup of beer by showing your wristband. The wristband will be cut if you receive the beer. Attention, do not drive after drinking!

16 EVENT SERVICE PRIZE(ELITE ONLY) Awarding ceremony will be held at around 10:40 am. 17 EVENT SERVICE SPARTAN MERCHANDISE We will provide Spartan merchandise will be for sale onsite. The merchandise are customized for the race, including various clothes and cases for iphone. You can pay via WeChat, Alipay and Cash. Welcome to select them! *If you buy merchandise when you registering the race and select to collect in race day, please bring your ID card to the Merchandise Tent to collect them.

18 WHAT TO WEAR Long sleeves Race clothes which can cover your body. A pair of anti-slip shoes. Changing clothes, socks and shoes. 19 EVENT DECLARATION ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES. LEAVING YOUR CHILD UNATTENDED WHILE YOU ARE RACING WILL RESULT IN BEING PULLED OFF THE COURSE AND ASKED TO LEAVE. No pop-up tents are allowed in the festival area. No coolers or glass bottles allowed on property. Security staff will check for them as you enter. Please leave a sticker with your name and phone number on your camera or other electronic equipment. This is the ONLY way to find them if you lose your equipment on the course. Get a good night s sleep. This race is no joke...

20 EXTREME WEATHER In conditions of lighting, tornado and hurricane, Spartan Race reserves the right to postpone, cancel, or modify the Event due to weather conditions that might affect the health and/or safety of participants, staff and volunteers. Weather is changeable, so we will precautions in advance so as to deal with the cold morning, scorching afternoon, and possible storm.
