This Information Guide will prepare you for your spectating experience, equipping you with VIP locations, schedules, and more. Please feel free to contact us with any questions, comments, or concerns. Sincerely, Kristen Riker IRONMAN VIP Services Coordinator PRE-RACE ( ) Prior to race day you may visit the VIP Services tent located in IRONMAN Village (address on page 3) to pick up your VIP wristband for race day entry. Once you have received your credentials, we encourage you to enjoy IRONMAN Village and familiarize yourself with this guide for easier spectating on race day. RACE DAY ( ) VIP wristbands will be required for all guests and will be available for pickup on race day at the VIP Viewing locations. Notes Spectators will have limited access to and from the park, between the times of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friends and family hoping to join the festivities will be asked to arrive early. Apulia Rd. will be closed in the Hamlet of Jamesville starting at 7 a.m. and will not open until 12 p.m. Apulia Rd. will also be closed at Palidino Rd. (south of the reservoir) to all thru northbound traffic starting at 9 a.m. and will not reopen until 5 p.m. 3

6 VIP HOSPITALITY MAPS 1. IRONMAN Village Check-In and VIP Finish Line Tent location on race day enjoy lunch and watch the athletes cross the finish line! 2. VIP Swim Viewing location on race day witness the start of the race! 3. VIP Transition Viewing- enjoy the excitement surrounding the transition area!
7 RACE COURSE MAPS Swim The swim course is a rectangular swim that will start and finish on the shores of Jamesville Beach. Athletes will swim in a clockwise motion that will follow the western shore of Jamesville Reservoir, before turning right at the first turn marker. Athletes will then head east in the water to the second turn marker where they will once again turn right at the large buoy and head back towards the shoreline. Swimmers will turn right at the last large turn buoy reaching the swim exit. The swim will be wetsuit legal, with water temperatures expected to be in the 60s F. This will be a wave start swim with each wave entering the water at 4-minute intervals. VIP Viewing Locations 7
8 RACE COURSE MAPS Bike Cyclists will travel a single loop through Onondaga County as well as Madison and Cortland Counties. This course provides some challenging climbs and gorgeous views showcasing what Upstate New York has to offer. 8
9 RACE COURSE MAPS Run Runners will enjoy a double, out-and-back style course set in the countryside of Onondaga County Park outside the Hamlet of Jamesville. 9
