1 1. Main Venue Sironit Beach South of the Guy Beach Hotel in Tiberias. The Leonardo Club Hotel is the Race Hotel that will host all briefings and ceremonies. 2. Race Briefing Thursday July 25 th 17:00 at the Leonardo Club Hotel Tiberias. All Maccabiah registered Triathletes must be present at the briefing. All race materials will be distributed at the briefing. 3. Competition Rules According to ITU competition rules and the Maccabiah regulations. 4. Timing and Results Service by 4Sport will be displayed on the main notice board. 5. Parking arrangements Parking will be available in the large parking area in front of the Guy Beach Hotel. Guests and athletes must arrive to the parking area no later than 04:30, after this time parking won't be available due to traffic. All roads between Zemach Junction in the south and Tiberias in the North will be closed for traffic from 05:30 until 11:00. Late arrivals and spectators can arrive at any given time from the North of Tiberias. Parking is available in the near parking areas near the race hotel (see attached map) and approached by foot from the main venue which is only 1,300 meters away. 1

2 6. Transition area Sironit beach grounds. Transition area will open for athlete's check in, Sprint and Olympic from 04:30 until 05:50. Following transition area will be open in the far south end for late sprint arrivals from 06:40 until 07:20. Late arrivals who will come at the last moment should expect to be detained by traffic and long waiting lines and might forfeit the starting time. We start on time especially due to the expected high temperatures in this area on the summer days. 7. Course layout (see attached race maps) Swim: One lap clockwise, different entry and exit position. Sprint 750M and Olympic 1500M. Entrance to the starting position will be only after approval and instruction by the official starter. Bike: Exit transition areas to the left until Zemach circle and return for the sprint. One additional round for the Olympic distance. Non drafting event except juniors. Run: Exit North on the main road until the Leonardo Club race Hotel, 1,250m per leg and return to the close turning point in front of the run exit point. Sprint twice back and forth total of 5KM and Olympic 4 times back and forth, total of 10KM. Athletes are obliged to follow the race course and any deviation from the race course or miss of a timing mat without returning to the original location of the exiting course will be followed by disqualification. 8. Appeal procedures List of Disqualified athletes will be presented on the main notice board after the race ends. Athlete may appeal or protest within 30 minutes after race end by filing an appeal or protest form (available on the notice board) and submitting a 200NIS deposit at the race registration booth. Deposit will not be returned unless the protest is approved by the protest Jury. Appeals on disqualifications must be submitted within 30 minutes of race end. 2

Competition rules Swim: Swim cap is compulsory with race number marked on it. Body markings according to ITU competition rules on arms and thighs. Swim suits are not allowed. Compression sleeves and leggings are not allowed. Swim is clockwise. Bike: Helmet is compulsory. The competition is none drafting in all relays. Bike course will have a cutoff time at 10:00 a.m and run course has a cutoff time of 10:40 a.m. Run: Top torso must be covered and bib number must face forward. Make sure you cross timing pads. Aid stations are located every 1KM 10. Award ceremony 12:00 at Leonardo club hotel.
