We will welcome nearly 1,900 runners from 20 states to the beautiful resort town of llicottville on October 27th. Our goal is to F D All of the races start and finish in the center of llicottville, 5 Monroe Street, with our after party and awards at The llicottville Brewing Company at 28 Monroe Street. We will be accepting donations at packet pick up/registration on behalf of the United Church. 2 vent Parking PARKING Parking is available at 55 Jefferson St., less than a 5-minute walk from the race start and registration. This lot is run by our local charity partners and there is a voluntary $5 donation to cover insurance expense and to help raise funds for the organizations. Free parking is available on the Village streets. Please pay attention to the no parking signs in the village as improperly parked vehicles will be ticketed. 4 F D Packet Pick Up / Accommodations Packet pickup for both the 1/2 marathon and 5k will be available at the following times. All packet pick up will take place behind the llicottville Brewing Company - 28 Monroe St., llicottville. If picking up another person s packet you will need a picture or copy of their ID. Friday, October 26, 4:30 to 7:00 pm Saturday, October 27, 8:00 to 11:00 am All half marathon finishers will get free Sponge candy courtesy of Watson s Chocolate in llicottville. ACCOMMODATIONS F D Chocolate in llicottville. Don t forget, the Wingate By Wyndham has discounted room rates Friday and Saturday nights. The Wingate is only a 2-minute walk to the start/finish line. Holiday Valley Resort is also offering VL Half & 5k participants discounted rates through Holiday Valley Rental Management, at the Inn at Holiday Valley and at the Tamarack for larger groups. 8 ev. 10/12/2015 Courses The course will be open for 3:15. After 3:15, runners still on the course will be allowed to finish but there will be no course support available, so plan your hydration accordingly. Both the 5k and 1/2 marathon courses will use the same start/finish line, with the 1/2 marathon starting at 11:00 am and the 5k at 11:15 am. Please stay on the RIGHT hand side of the road, running with traffic. Vehicle traffic is controlled on the running courses, not closed in all sections. Runners will have a lane defined by traffic cones for both courses, please stay to the right of the cones at all times. F D
