Place, dates and times: The race will be held in front of Sestri Levante(Ge). From 7 th to 9 th of April 2017 The boats and the trailers will be hosted in the free beach near the Leudo (lungomare Descalzo in front of Grand Hotel Villa Balbi) Schedule : the schedule will be defined in the sailing instructions. There are scheduled 2 coastal races long between 8 and 25 NM and possible windward/leeward races Friday the 7 th of April 2017 Hospitality and Practice Race Saturday the 8 th of April 09:00-12:00 Equipment Checking Registration 11:30 Competitors Briefing 13:00 First Warning Signal Courses Costal race (RAID) Sestri Levante Levanto Welcome confort (food, beverage,warm shower) Transfert for the crew Levanto Sestri Levante by train or by cars Personal cloche will be delivered from Sestri Levante to Levanto by organisation Staff

2 The catamarans will be mooring and guardianed during the night in Levanto 20:30 Dinner and Party offered by the organization in Sestri Levante Sunday the 9 th of April See the sailing instructions Transfert crew from Sestri Levante to Levanto Pocked lunch offered by the organization 12:00 race start (RAID) from Levanto From 14:00 arrival in Sestri Levante Prize giving as soon as possible Courses: the course and racing areas will be defined in the sailing instructions (trapezoid, Windward/Leeward or long distance corse may be used). 3. Admitted classes: All catamaran classes from 16. Groups will made in according to class inscription 4. Entry: From 9 AM to 12 PM of Saturday 8 th April The entry form attached to this Notice of Race including Crew List details shall be filled in, signed and handed in to the Race Office set in the hospitality on the beach. Pre registration should be sent to segreteria@ycsestrilevante.it or andrea.henriquet@gmail.com with proper entry form (here attached) by Entry Fees: Entry fees are: 40,00 for single and 80,00 for double crew Entry fee is non-refundable. 6. Races: Coastal races long distance will be sailed on Saturday and Sunday. The regatta will be raced on a fixed marks course in Punta Baffe, Punta Mesco (5 terre), Punta Moneglia for a race long between 15 and 25 NM. The prize will be given to the first arrived in real time. The Race Committee may change the program in case of adverse weather conditions and Windward/Leeward courses may be used. 7. Race warning signals: First Race warning signal at 13:00 pm on Saturday 8 th of April 2017

3 8. Sailing instructions: Sailing instuctions will be available at the race office at the registration from 9:00 AM on the 8 th of April or send by on request. 9. Scoring: The Low Point System, as in Appendix A4.1 RRS shall apply. 10. Ranking: Overall, Category and Class ranking will be drawn up according to the real time finish order. For those classes where there are minimum 5 boats, there will be a separate ranking. 11. Eligibility: All the sailors must be registered with their National sailing associations and with their class association. A valid measurement certificate shall be presented to the organizing authority during registration. Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of Euro ,00 as provided by the FIV general Regulation All participants shall accomplish with their Class Association Rules 12. Rules : The Ragatta will be sailed under the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the provisions FIV and Class Rules 13. Measurement Daily random measurement checks could take place. 14. Prizes Prizes will be given to the fist three scored in each category Trofeo PrimaVeraVela to the 1 st scored in real time (minimum 2 races finished) Trofeo Super Raid Peter pan Challenge Trofeo Pierre Sicouri : in memory of Pierre Sicouri, famous Italian sailor who lived in Sestri Levante, there is a perpetual challenge given to the first passing through the mark right in front of Pierre s house, or as specified in the SI.

4 15. Disclaimer of liability: Competitors participate to the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4 decision to race. The organising authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta 16. Support boats: All support boats are at all times submitted to the Organizing Authority and Race Committee authority, are legally considered as assistance/ rescue boats and must comply with any instructions given by those authorities or by the police All support boats shall be registered and will be require to comply with local 17.
