4 EXPERT Triland Metals has been a Ring Dealing Member of the London Metal Exchange for over three decades and, as our name suggests, we are specialists in metals. Many of our customers come to us for our conventional hedging service for their metals trading. Others take advantage of our knowledge and expertise in associated services. We provide additional value to our customers planning strategies through the use of tools such as options and averaging. For customers requiring physical metal or specific warrants, we carry a warrant stockholding, as well as being able to source materials from our global customer base. If you need to trade in a currency other than US Dollars, we can also quote metal prices in Yen, Euros and Sterling. MORE THAN And to make sure that our customers benefit from our market knowledge, we provide daily and quarterly reports to keep them up to date with all the latest news and market movements as well as informed commentary.

6 GLOBAL Triland Metals is a subsidiary of the Mitsubishi Corporation (MC). MC is Japan's largest general trading company with over 200 bases of operations in approximately 80 countries worldwide. With over 500 group companies, MC employs a multinational workforce of approximately 54,000 people. MC has long been engaged in business with customers around the world in virtually every industry, including energy, metals, machinery, chemicals, food and general merchandise. In 1971 MC saw the need to set up a specialist metals trading company to hedge against price movements in the metals markets. A triple alliance took place between companies in London, New York and Tokyo, and Triland Metals was born. We retain those links with our sister companies in New York and Tokyo, giving us presence on the ground in key markets and in the three key time zones around the world. 200 BASES OF OPERATIONS, As well as trading in metals, MC owns London-based Petro-Diamond Risk Management (PDRM) which specialises in energy derivatives. With energy and metals production being intrinsically linked, Triland s customers are able to enjoy trading relationships with both companies. Our dealing team is multi-lingual, with eight languages spoken fluently including Japanese, Mandarin and most European languages, and we are available to trade whenever our customers need us.

We offer our customers credit lines to cover initial and variation margins (subject to approval), and our dedicated back office team is on hand to deal with any customer questions. In keeping with Mitsubishi Corporation key principles, at Triland Metals we are very aware of our environmental responsibility. We have undertaken an audit of our carbon footprint, and where it is impractical to reduce our emissions, we are now offsetting them. Since April 2007, Triland Metals has been working with PURE, The Clean Planet Trust (Registered UK Charity No ). PURE offsets carbon dioxide emissions by buying and cancelling carbon credits from emissions reduction projects that meet the high quality international standards of the Kyoto Protocol. This helps finance new projects around the world that reduce emissions and cancellation of these quotas also limits the amount of carbon dioxide that polluting companies are allowed to release into the atmosphere. Unlike many other carbon-offsetting programmes, the positive impact of carbon offsetting is felt within twelve months.
