1 S P E E C H A N D D E B A T E T E A M TOURNAMENT INFORMATION SHEET Tournament The Glenbrooks Speech and Debate Tournament Glenbrook North High School 2300 Shermer Rd, Northbrook, IL Glenbrook South High School 4000 W Lake Ave, Glenview, IL Date Events Attending Transportation Saturday, 11/17/18 Monday, 11/19/18 (elimination rounds for some events only) Policy, Lincoln-Douglas, Public Forum, and Congress Students need to communicate with parents about drop off and pickup at their specific contest site. Parents should arrange transportation. Please take a look below to see where your student s particular event is taking place. Glenbrook North - All Policy Glenbrook South - All Public Forum - All Lincoln Douglas - Congress Cost/Meals/Money Schedule Coaches Attending: (at GBS), Code of Conduct: Notes: New Trier is covering entry fees as well as judging for the tournament. Please bring enough money to cover your meals each day as well as any items you may want to purchase at the tournament. The schedule will vary depending on your student s event. Please see the next few pages regarding the times of competition. Expectations and consequences may be found in the student handbook. Additional expectations can be found in our code of newtrier.paperlessdebate.com Students are required to attend classes immediately following the tournament. If your student qualifies for late elimination rounds in Policy Debate, Public Forum, or Lincoln Douglas, they should arrive at the Renaissance North Shore (933 Skokie Boulevard in Northbrook, IL) at the appropriate time according to the schedule.
