You may send these in by , fax, or snail mail. kasturm@lpssonline.com Fax: Deadline Friday, February 16th Snail Mail: 401 Broadmoor Blvd., Lafayette, LA Students may only enter the group or individual contest (not both). Each participant will say their own name and the name of their costume before they go on stage. Numbers will be given at Conference check-in. If a student loses a number, we will have extra. When your club s registration is received, you will be sent a confirmation.

3 Page 3 February 2018 CONVENTION CENTER -Do remember to use INSIDE voices. con- -Do TURN OFF cell phones or leave them in your room when in the vention center. AVOID TEXTING in the convention center!!! -Do attend ALL functions. -Do use POSITIVE remarks amongst your peers. -Do be ON TIME for all activities and DRESSED appropriately. -Do wear your NAME TAG to all events. You may not attend functions without it. -Do be COURTEOUS when guest speakers are speaking. (No talking, listening to music, blowing bubbles with your gum, texting, etc.)***look interested even if you re sleepy on Monday!*** -Do use TABLE MANNERS during the Author and Awards Lunch. HOTEL -Do RESPECT the hotel and convention center as if your Mom or Dad was watching. -Do be COURTEOUS AND "ADULT-LIKE" among other guests in the hotel. QUIET IN THE HALLWAYS AND STAIRWELLS. NOT TOO LOUD IN ROOMS! -Do remind yourself of LIGHTS OUT time- 12:30 A.M. -Do remember it is okay to VISIT in rooms...but girls with girls...boys with boys. -Do get snacks/drinks BEFORE lock-in time (12 am). NO OUTSIDE ORDERS WITHOUT SPONSOR PERMISSION! -Do stay away from the swimming pool area at ALL times. -Do get DRESSED BEFORE coming down for breakfast. PLEASE, NO PAJAMA PANTS. SOCIAL DANCE -Do dance with SELF-RESPECT. Have fun, but dance appropriately. -Do leave the dance WITH your sponsors. ABSOLUTELY NO WANDERING AROUND THE HOTEL. YOU MAY ONLY GO TO YOUR ROOM IF A CHAPERONE IS WITH YOU.
