Daktronics and Colorado Starting System, electronic timing. Arizona Swimming warm up/warm down procedures will be posted and enforced. 1. Open to any USA Swimming, AAU, NASA, YMCA or non affiliated swimmers. There will be no on deck entry. 2. All swimwear must be FINA approved. 3. This is a time standard meet. Swimmers must have equaled or bettered the qualifying time in order to swim that event. All entries must be made via OME Type of Meet: Short Course Prelims with Long Course Finals Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There will be two eight lane courses used for prelims and one eight lane final course will be set up for evening finals.

2 Rules Governing The Meet: 1. Age on the first day the meet will govern for the entire meet. 2. Conduct of the event shall conform in every respect to all technical and administrative rules of USA Swimming. 3. Swimming competitions shall be conducted in accordance with USA Swimming Technical Rules. 4. The competition course has been certified in accordance with C(4) as to pool length. A copy of such certification is on file with USA Swimming. 5. The minimum water depth, measured in accordance with Article , is a continuous Deck changes are prohibited. 7. The Arizona Swimming Controlled Meet Warm up and Safety Guidelines will be posted and enforced. 8. The use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, restrooms, locker rooms, or other areas as may be designated by the Meet Director/Meet Referee. 9. All referees, starters, administrative officials, chief judges and stroke and turn judges serving in an official capacity in the event must be non athlete members of USA Swimming, YMCA Swimming or members of other FINA member organizations. 10. Officials must sign in. 11. Coaches must sign in. 12. Swimmers with a disability are welcome. The Swimmer (or swimmers coach) is responsible for notifying the Referee, prior to the competition, of any disability of the swimmer and of the requested modification. The swimmer/coach shall provide any assistant(s) or equipment (tappers, deck mats, etc.) if required. 13. Operation of a drone, or any other flying apparatus, is prohibited over the venue (pools, athlete/coach areas, spectator areas and open ceiling locker rooms) any time athletes, coaches, officials and/or spectators are present. Event Rules: 1. This is a preliminary/final meet short course yards prelims; long course finals. Two 8 lane courses will be used for prelims and one eight lane long course for final competition. 2. Swimmers must enter with valid qualifying times. Entry times not achieved in short course yards shall be noted by the appropriate course. No converted times may be used. An entry of NT will not be accepted. The order of seeding for preliminaries will be YLS. 3. Swimmers 9&Under, 11, and 13 must meet the national motivation BB standard, swimmers 10, 12, and 14 must meet the national motivational A standard for each event in order to be eligible to swim with exception to distance events (A and AA respectively, and they will be capped at 32 entrants per distant event which will consist of 500 Free, 400IM, 1000 Free and 1650 Free). 4. The meet will be capped at 800 swimmers. 5. Swimmers are limited to 3 individual events per day, 9 for the meet. Over entered swimmers in a session will have events dropped at the point of over entry. 6. Time trials will be offered at the discretion of the meet referee and are subject to entry limits. 7. Events 400 and longer and all relays are positive check in. All swimmers must be listed on the entry sheet in order to compete. Relays are limited to 2 per team. See positive check in times below. 8. Arizona Age Group scratch rules will be enforced. Any swimmer not reporting to a final event in which the results were posted will also receive a $25 fee assessed to the team

3 unless relieved for good cause by the meet referee. 9. All relays will be timed final swum in the preliminary session. BONUS EVENTS For 1 qualifying time. you will earn 4 bonus events For 2 or more qualifying times.. you will earn 3 bonus events Seeding: All preliminary events, will be swum combined 10 & Under, 11 12, 13 1, slowest to fastest excluding the 400IM, 500 Free, 1000 & 1650 these events will be swum fastest to slowest with the fastest eight in the 500 Free swimming 400 Free in finals. Top 8 in each age group as follows will swim in finals. The 400 IM and 500 Free will be timed finals with the top 8 of the combined age group in finals (still scored separately). The 1650/1000 freestyles are timed finals with all heats in the preliminary session in their combined age groups but scored separately, only the top 32 entries will compete. All relays are timed finals in the preliminary session.
