The Red Wolves return home for its Senior Day on Nov. 17 against Texas State at noon. THE ULM SERIES: A-State leads the alltime series against the Warhawks The Red Wolves defeated ULM 3-0 at the Convocation Center earlier this season on Oct. 18. THE TEXAS STATE SERIES: The Red Wolves lead the all-time series with Texas State by a count of 5-1. A-State defeated the Bobcats in five sets at San Marcos, Texas on Oct. 11. DIGGING MACHINE 2000: Senior libero Megan Baska became only the second player in Arkansas State history to record 2,000 digs in a career. She recorded her 2000th career dig on her 10th dig of the night during the point of the second set against UT Arlington last Friday night. After 41 digs over the weekend against Troy and Georgia State, she has 2,099 career digs. CAN YOU DIG IT: Senior libero Megan Baska leads the Red Wolves in digs with 532 on the year. She led A-State with 41 digs this past weekend against Troy and Georgia State. Her 4.55 digs per set average on the year ranks as the fourth best in the Sun Belt Conference. Baska s 4.55 digs per set average also ranks as 92nd in the nation. Texas State (20-11, 10-6 SBC) Sunday, Nov :00 p.m. CDT Convocation Center (Jonesboro, Ark.) Series: A-State leads 5-1 SENSATIONAL SADIE: Senior Sadie Clark became the first A-State player to eclipse 300 kills and has 336 this season to lead the Red Wolves after tallying another 12 kills against Troy and GSU. She has a 2.97 kills per set average that ranks ninth in the Sun Belt Conference. SOLID SULLIVAN: Senior Kelsey Sullivan was second on the team lead in kills against USA and ULL over the weekend with 23 and has the second most kills on the team this year with 267. She is also second on the team in hitting percentage with.264. Sullivan also added 12 blocks during the past weekend s action and has the most blocks on the team with 94. THIS IS WARRINGTON: Freshman Mallory Warrington dished out 92 assists over the weekend and recorded 46 assists and 10 digs in each match against Troy and GSU to earn her fourth and fifth doubledoubles of the season. For her efforts, she was named the week 11 Setter of the Week by the Sun Belt Conference. KENDAL S KILLER NIGHT: Freshman Kendal Davis posted 34 kills over the weekend, including an 18 kill performance against GSU. She became the fifth A-State player to eclipse the 100 kills mark this season and now has 150 on the year. SERVING WITH CRNCIC: Shelby Crncic is second on the team in service aces with 18 and is the only Red Wolf to have more service aces (18) than service errors (16). She also ranks third on the team in digs with 179 this year.

A SIDE OF REIS: Freshman Kelsey Reis leads A-State freshmen in kills (181) and is first on the team with a.285 hitting percentage that ranks eighth in the SBC. She is second on the team in blocks with 92 and first in blocks per set at She also leads the team in block solos with 14. DIGGING WITH SCHAEDIG: Freshman Markie Schaedig is second on the team in digs with 226 on the season for a 2.02 digs per set average. She is also tied for third on the team in service aces with 17. BASKING IN THE GLORY: Libero Megan Baska was awarded her 11th career Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week award for her efforts during week seven of the season. She is the all-time record holder in the SBC for DPOW awards. DOUBLE VISION: Jackie Gerig registered her fifth double-double of the season against South Alabama Oct. 4 after handing out 54 assists and recording 12 digs. Her previous double-doubles came against Kennesaw State, Memphis, Mississippi State, and Troy. ALL-TOURNAMENT RED WOLVES: Megan Baska earned a spot on the Belmont Bruin Classic All-Tournament Team during A-State s last tournament of the season, Sadie Clark was named to the Bama Bash All-Tournament Team and the Magnolia Invitational All-Tournament Team, Kelsey Sullivan was named to the Missouri Tiger Invitational All-Tournament Team, and Jackie Gerig was named to the Bama Bash All-Tournament Team. THE GREAT EIGHT: The Red Wolves feature players from eight different states this season. The states represent are Arkansas (1), Illinois (2), Indiana (1), Iowa (1), Kansas (4), Missouri (2), Nebraska (1), and Texas (5). SHORTEST TO TALLEST: Senior Shelby Crncic has the distinction of being the shortest player on the A-State roster this season coming in at 5 5, while there is a tie for tallest Red Wolf between redshirt freshman Hannah McRee and freshman Kelsey Reis with both registering a height of 6 3. SIBLING RIVALRY: Megan Baska s brother, David Baska, is entering his senior season as a punter on the Air Force Academy football squad and has also lettered two years on the Falcon baseball team. IT RUNS IN THE FAMILY: Senior Jackie Gerig has seven siblings and all of them are volleyball players. Four of them have played or are currently playing college volleyball. CLARK S DIVISION I FAMILY: Division I sports are not uncommon to Sadie Clark and the rest of her family. Her father, Steve, played football at Kansas State before playing in the NFL. Her older sister Destiny played volleyball at Arkansas and older brother Zac played football at Oregon. Currently, her younger brother Trace is playing football at Oklahoma State. LAST TIME OUT: ATLANTA, Ga. (11/9/13) The Arkansas State volleyball team defeated the Georgia State Panthers by a score of 3-1 (22-25, 25-23, 25-14, 25-16) at the GSU Sports Arena in Atlanta, Ga. Saturday night. Leading 2-1 in the match, A-State (12-19, 7-9 SBC) came out in the fourth set looking like a team wanting to break a six-game losing streak by jumping out to a 6-1 lead, capped by a Jackie Gerig service ace. Georgia State (9-20, 4-11 SBC) got within four points at 9-5, but wouldn t get any closer the rest of the set. The Red Wolves went ahead by as many as seven points at after a Kendal Davis kill, but the Panthers got within five points at before Arkansas State closed the set out on a 5-1 run, capped by a Kesley Sullivan kill to take a game four victory and 3-1 match victory. Our freshmen stepped up huge tonight, A-State volleyball coach David Rehr said. Shelby Holmes, Kelsey Reis, and Kendal Davis all had a great match for us and we needed someone to step up. It feels great to break that losing streak. Davis led the Red Wolves with 18 kills during the match, while Sullivan (12)

Mallory Warrington led the Red Wolves with 46 assists and also recorded her fifth double-double of the season by adding 10 digs. Kelsey Reis, Gerig, and Davis led the way with two service aces each. Defensively, Megan Baska recorded 28 digs, while Sullivan led the way with seven blocks. Georgia State jumped out to an early 9-6 lead in the first set before A-State rallied to take an lead after a Panther attacking error. The set went back and forth until a GSU 3-0 run with the score gave the Panthers a lead. The Red Wolves didn t get any closer than two points the rest of the set and GSU won by a score of to take a 1-0 lead. A-State started the second set off much better by earning an 11-8 lead after a Davis and Sullivan block, but GSU came back to tie the set at 16-16, but a 3-0 Arkansas State run gave the Red Wolves a lead and forced a Georgia State timeout. A-State stretched its lead out to 23-19, but a 4-0 run by the Panthers tied the set at The Red Wolves responded with two consecutive points on kills from Sullivan and Holmes to clinch the second set victory by a score of and tie the match 1-1. The Red Wolves and Panthers began the third set even at 4-4 before a 7-1 run, capped by a Shelby Crncic service ace, gave A-State an 11-5 lead. The Panthers wouldn t get any closer than five points the rest of the way and A-State stretched its lead to double-digits at after a Sullivan kill. GSU got within nine points at 23-14, but Davis recorded consecutive kills to give the Red Wolves a victory in game three and a 2-1 lead in the match.
