ENTRY INFORMATION $$ ENTRY FEE The entry fee is $ per team for both the 16 s & 18 s division. MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO: KENT MA MAIL TO: KENT MA, POOKELA STREET, KANEOHE, HAWAII ENTRY FEE REFUND POLICY Any team whose entry is refused for any reason will receive a full refund. No entry fee, or any portion of such fee, will be refunded to a team that withdraws from the Event after the deadline date. Page 3 of 6

4 II. ROSTERS AND REGISTRATION ROSTERS: A maximum of fifteen (15) players. Roster should be generated from the USAV Webpoint Registraton system. ON-SITE TEAM CHECK-IN: All teams are required to have a Team Representative or Coach at the mandatory meeting. Playing rules and tournament policies and procedures will be reviewed at this time. 5 Page 5 of 6 III. TOURNAMENT INFORMATION GYM RULES AND REGULATIONS: We ask the coaches cooperation in enforcing these rules. It is extremely important that the players, coaches and parents are informed of the following: NO FOOD OR DRINKS in the gyms. Future use of the facility depends on our ability to follow these rules NO food or beverage in the facility (specific areas will be designated at the site for cooler storage and eating areas. NO coolers or beach chairs in or on the gym floor. NO ball handling in the hallways. No Smoking on campus. FORMAT: Round robin format Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of 6 matches providing the maximum number of teams are entered in each division. Matches will be the best two out of three games. Rally scoring to 25 points, win by 2 points, with a 27 point cap. If a third deciding game is required it will be rally scoring to 15 points win by 2, no cap and the teams will switch sides at 8 points Two time outs per game. Twelve team substitutions New Net Touch Rule in effect New Centerline Rule in effect New Libero Rule In effect GAME TIMES: The first match of any round will begin at its scheduled time. Within a round the succeeding matches will begin immediately beginning with the 8 minute warm-up. WARM-UP PROCEDURES: Each team will have their own 4 minute warm-up, prior to the start of each match. TEAM OFFICIATING ASSIGNMENTS: TOURNAMENT PLAY: The Tournament host will provide R1 for each match. Each team is responsible for

6 officiating duties to include: R2, 2 linespersons, 1 official scorekeeper, 1 libero tracker / visible scoreboard keeper. POOL PLAY ASSIGNMENTS: The work team for each pool will be designated within the pool schedule. THE OFFICIAL BALL: The Molten Super Touch PROTEST PROCEDURE: If a protest is to be filed it must be done at the time of the incident, no later. Only the floor captain may file the protest. The protest must be written on the score sheet by the scorer or the official and must be signed by both the floor captain and the referee. The protested game will be completed but before the next game begins the protest must be ruled upon. A protest cannot be filed after the completion of the match. Judgment calls may NOT be protested.
