Student retention and success Rae Tooth, Head of Strategy and Change Office for Fair Access (OfS) There will also be a free cultural music tour commencing at 5pm on the evening of Monday 5 th March for those delegates who are travelling to Liverpool the evening before the event. 3 Historical music tour Monday 5th March 5pm Available to delegates who are arriving the evening before the workshop This guided musical walking tour will take you on over two hours of fascinating history, stunning live music and some of the best beers in the city! Your tour guide along with a talented musician will keep you well entertained along the way. It commences in The Philharmonic Dining Rooms in Hope St and includes visits to three historical pubs in the city. The tour includes a walking route of just under a mile at a leisurely pace. Whilst we can guarantee a very entertaining event, we can't guarantee the weather, so please bring a warm coat, and of course sensible walking shoes. You will also need cash if you want to buy drinks along the way, as not all venues we visit will take cards. 6 Directions Foresight Centre From M62 (end of motorway) Continuing straight take left hand land and follow signs for City Centre A5047 and Albert Dock. Continue straight (approx 2 miles) passing Edge Lane Retail Park on left. Follow signs for Lime Street Rail Station and continue through traffic lights. The Royal Liverpool University Hospital will be on your right. Continue through pedestrian lights passing the Dental Hospital on right. After next set of traffic lights turn immediately left into Brownlow Street Visitor Car Parking see detailed parking map. By Train Liverpool Lime Street Inter-city station is a 5-10 minute walk for the Foresight Centre. Leaving station by exit nearest to ticket office though taxi rank turn right from Lime Street Station and first left into Pudsey Street. At end of road turn right into London Road and continue up London Road. The Foresight Centre can be accessed by pedestrians through gates at Pembroke Place. Foresight Centre (Old Royal Infirmary Hospital) entrance is No1 the first entrance on left.
