2 21 st World Championship Long Casting of Sea Weights (Seniors) 5 th World Championship Long Casting of Sea Weights (Ladies) from 2 nd to 9 th June 2018 Castel Volturno (Caserta) - (Italy) Welcome, dear angler friends I am delighted to express on my name and on behalf of the Italian Sport Fishing and Underwater Activities Federation (FIPSAS),the best greetings to all participants at these World Championships that this year are going to take place from June the 02 th until 09 th 2018, in a charming area of Campania Region, in to Castel Volturno. I am sure that all attending athletes, who will join Castel Volturno as well as all managers, judges and stewards will find a way to explore and appreciate our beauties and taste Campania people s hospitality and of all those who have made all efforts for the organization of this sport fishing important events. I am particularly delighted to express my warmest welcoming to all in the aim to live together some happy days in the name of sport. A special good luck to all Judges convened to manage this race, in the certainty of their professional and fair commitment they have also expressed in precedent occasions. Finally, I wish to thank the hosting Organizers, the local authorities and all journalists for their support and contribution for this event s good success. The FIPSAS President 1

Both personally and on behalf of FIPSAS Surface Fishing Division which I am honoured to chair I am pleased to extend my warmest and heartfelt welcome to all the participants in the 21 st World Senior Long Casting Championship and 5 th World Women s Long Casting Championship scheduled to take place at Castel Volturno (Caserta) from 2 to 9 June It is a highly prestigious event showcasing a very popular sport, where the best international Long Casting talents will be competing. I am confident that the traditional hospitality of the Campania region will be much appreciated by the athletes, officials and coaches of all national teams, as it will more than live up to its expectations while playing host to such a major sports fishing event. A special welcome to the many judges that will be officiating the competition with unfaltering commitment and remarkable conscientiousness. I wish to thank the Organising Committee, the city Mayor, the political Authorities and all the reporters of the different mass media involved for picking up this challenge enthusiastically and for helping ensure the successful outcome of the event. In addition to welcoming you all, together with the Italian Federation, I wish you all a most successful competition, regardless of the mere competitive result. 4 ASD NEAPOLIS TEAM 2008, in conjunction with F.I.P.S.A.S., is pleased to invite your Federation to take part in the 21 st World Long Casting Championship to be held from 2 nd to 9 th June 2018 at the Federation s facilities located at via Pagliuca Castel Volturno (Caserta), where the 5 th World Ladies Long Casting Championship will also be hosted. Accommodation for the teams and athletes will be provided at the PLANA RESORT Hotel located within the MEDITERRANEAN ECOPARK facility. The Hotel is situated 15 minutes from the competition site and 40 minutes from Naples city centre. Package costs are outlined below: 1) Full 6-athlete package (5 casters + 1 captain or accompanying person) including full-board accommodation in double room occupancy (overnight stay, breakfast and dinner) + gala dinner + packet lunch during competition days 3, ) Full 5-athlete package (5 casters) including full-board accommodation in double room occupancy (overnight stay, breakfast and dinner) + gala dinner + packet lunch during competition days 2, ) Single athlete package including full-board accommodation in double room occupancy (overnight stay, breakfast and dinner) + gala dinner + packet lunch during competition day ) 6-people team fee (5 casters + 1 captain or accompanying person) excluding hotel accommodation, packet lunch and gala dinner ) 5-people team fee (5 casters) excluding hotel accommodation, packet lunch and gala dinner ) Accompanying people fee including half-board accommodation in double room occupancy (overnight stay, breakfast and dinner) and gala dinner but excluding packet lunch Cost of lunch or dinner at the Hotel not included in package Daily cost of packet lunch at competition site from 5 to 8 June Single room occupancy extra charge ( 30 per day) Cost of gala dinner on 8 June for those not purchasing full package Cost of transportation from Naples Airport to hotel and return for max. three people Cost of transportation per person during the four days of competition from the Hotel to the competition venue for those who do not buy the complete package Dinner will consist of first course, main course, side dish, pudding and coffee, drinks will include water and wine. Each National Team will be responsible for the information provided. 2) The medical certificate will only be accepted if signed by a qualified physician and written in one of the FIPS-M official languages. 3) Any athlete failing to produce such certificate will be examined by a physician prior to the competition. The cost incurred to issue such certificate will be covered by the athlete. Anti-Doping By entering the competition, the athletes participating in the Championship will implicitly accept all the sports anti-doping rules laid down by WADA. 4

Female athletes are encouraged to carry GPS equipment in order to establish any distances reached. The delegations are required to provide the Organising Committee with a CD containing their national anthem and two flags of their own country.
