Portugal is, as you may know, a warm and welcoming country and a place where sportive fishing is a sport of choice for thousands of people, people who devote to this event and feel an enormous pride and gratitude for your attendance. 3 Welcoming Message As President of the Vila Real de Santo António Townhouse, I have the most delight and pride to welcome the World Championship Shore Angling for U16 and U 21 in This event, occurring in the wonderful Praia da Manta Rota, comes, once more, highlight the fantastic conditions and the magnificent requalification work. It will be the ideal scenario for the execution of this World Championship, which will certainly be a great success. Sport is one of the best vehicles for the encounter of cultures and one of the most beautiful expressions of coexistence, solidarity, equality, peace and fraternity in today s world.
