2 Stairs with landings, wheeled platform stairs, bridging steps General information Light-metal industrial stairs with standard inclinations of 45 deg. and 60 deg. Special inclinations to order. These stairs are produced in keeping with the German Accident Prevention Regulations BVG D36/GUV/V D36, BGI 637, German standards DIN 14183, DIN 24530, DIN and European standards EN ISO Light-metal industrial stairs shall not be used for domestic purposes in keeping with German standard DIN Notes on European standard EN ISO For safety reasons, stairs with an inclination of 45 deg. should be given preference. It is only if and when the local conditions require that an inclination of 60 deg. should be chosen. Permissible load: 1.5 kn/sqm. For 45 deg. stairs and a step width of, a centre support is required as from a vertical height of 3.75 m; in case of step width of 800 or 1,000 a centre support is required as from a vertical height of 3.33 m. These centre supports may be constructed as brackets or supporting frames; please observe our delivery options mentioned below. Characteristic construction features Side-rails are made of sturdy aluminium profile; upper end with support angle; lower end with plastic shoes; foot angles to order. The railings are made of aluminium tubes, diam. 40, with screwed connecting elements; height of railings: 1,100 ; plug-in railings to order at a surcharge; with web members or sheeting to order. Non-slip step covers screwed to the side-rails. Standard step cover made of grooved aluminium or galvanised perforated steel sheet; at a surcharge, deeply grooved aluminium, perforated aluminium sheet, aluminium grating, galvanised steel grating to order. The manufacturer supplies pre-mounted component groups; the railings are always loosely enclosed; including mounting instructions and declaration of the manufacturer. In keeping with European standard EN ISO 14122, a second handrail is required for an ascent height of more than 500 and a lateral gap next to the stair check of more than 200, which can be delivered at a surcharge. Special dimensions to order, steps made of lightmetal grating, perforated light-metal sheet or steel grating see general information. Top of stairs with support angle; bottom end with non-slip ladder shoes (brackets for floor attachment to order).
