1 Pride Parade Spot List The time has come...the wait is over...no going back..time to get this parade a rollin! This year the parade will have some significant changes to the traditional way the parade has been lined up, including: highlighting our 2SLGBTQ+ predominant servicing community groups and local community groups in the front of the parade, grouping participants in a more generalised category and moving the majority of our great sponsors to the end of the parade. These decisions were made to reflect the idea that our allies, business partners and sponsors are there to support us. We have the great honour to have the Wabanaki Two Spirit Alliance lead us on our journey that day. As many of you already know, the Prime MInister of Canada is joining us to commemorate, celebrate and advocate with us. He and his family will be walking in the parade and will join us as we depart on the parade route. Please ensure your participants are aware of the checkpoints, parking areas and spot numbers. One member of your group, must check in with a parade marshal at Checkpoint #2. They will direct you to the location of your spot on the marshalling grounds. Reminder to drink lots of water, be prepared for the weather and there is absolutely no parking in the cordoned off areas. There will be a fundraiser BBQ and face painting area at the south end of the marshalling grounds (closest to downtown).
