2 ABOUT Parc and Chateau de Bagatelle in the city of Paris was constructed after a bet between María Antonieta, the last queen of France, and her brother-in-law Comte de Artois in The historical park was taken over by Paris in Polo culture had taken over much earlier at the place, when on August 1, 1892 Viscount de la Rouchefoucald-Doudeaville founded what came to be known as- Polo de Paris. 5 FINALS Sunday, 3 June 2018 SAINTE MESME 6 LA CONCEPCION POLO 3 Tournoi de La Ville de Paris The nal of Tournoi de La Ville de Paris was played on 3rd June 2018, Sunday at the Polo De Paris ground. Sainte Mesme clinched their 6th title in a row, defeating Blacks and Blues with a nal scoreline of 6-3. Facundo F. Llorente of Saint Mesme remained the highest scorer of the tournament with 24 goals.

7 Polo Club Schloss Ebreichsdorf The Polo Club Schloss Ebreichsdorf founded by Richard Drasche-Wartinberg in 1991, was a consequence of his immense passion for the sport of elegance and speed. 9 POLO AROUND THE WORLD Spink and Son Cicero Cup 2018 The 15-goal tournament had a total of 7 teams contesting, at the Cowdray Park Polo Club. Snake Bite team lifted the cup for 2nd year in a row, defeating Confido team in the final game with a scoreline of 9-6. La Martina Varsity Day 2018 The Oxford team defeated their institutional rivals Cambridge 13-0 in the Varsity Day match on 2nd June Another highly rated fixture saw the Harrow school team getting better of their rivals Eton by a narrow margin of 3-2.5

10 POLO AROUND THE WORLD Cartier Queen s Cup Image credit: Images of Polo The ongoing 22-goal tournament at the Guards Polo Club has 11 teams competing to lay their hands on the prestigious title. Day 6- The first fixture of the week saw El Remanso registering a decent victory over Clinova with a score of 14 goals to 9. Day 7- RH Polo came out on top in the first fixture of the day, beating Emlor 10 goals to 7. Later in the afternoon, Monterosso Polo Team went down against Valiente Polo team, with the final scoreline of 9-11 in favour of the latter. Day 8- Talandracas registered 9 goals on the scoreboard, against El Remanso who could only manage to score 7 in response. Day 9- Clinova beat Park Palace with 10 goals to 8 in the Group 2 fixture. Day 10- The day saw two closely contested games- La Indiana coming out on top against La Bamba De Areco with a score of 10-9, and RH Polo registering a 7-6 win over Valiente Polo Team. Day 11- Emlor Polo Team and Les Lions, having already qualified for the playoffs, went head-to-head on Sunday. The game ended with a scoreline of 6-3 in favour of Emlor.

11 POLO AROUND THE WORLD Labrador Trophy 2018 Guards Polo Club organised the Labrador Trophy 2018, which usually coincides with its annual dog show. The final game played on the 3rd June 2018, Sunday was a close contest with Bon Coeur/Quixote narrowly defeating Belmont Farm Dollar Cup 2018 A 12-goal tournament, Dollar Cup 2018 had its final scheduled on 3rd June 2018, Sunday at Cowdray Park Polo Club. Four Quarters Orange lay their hands on the trophy, beating White Crane in the final with 6 goals to 3.

12 POLO AROUND THE WORLD Duke of Sutherland Cup 2018: Organised by the Cowdray Park Polo Club, the 18-goal tournament began with a total of 15 teams. With the final fixture of the week on 2nd June (Saturday), Hurlingham 1875 beating Bardon 9-6, all 8 teams qualifying for playoffs have been confirmed. List of quarter-finals fixtures: HB Polo la Forge vs Talandracas Desert Palm/Dubai vs Murus Sanctus Hurlingham 1875 vs Park Place Cowdray Vikings vs Ferne Park Hublot Polo Tournament 2018 The newly introduced tournament was rolled out by the Hungarian Polo Club, in collaboration with The Diplomats Polo Club. It featured 4 teams with players from across the globe and high-profile sponsors like BMW- Wallis, Engel & Völkers, La Martina to name a few. The Hublot and the BMW teams clashed in the finals, with the former winning by a single goal margin.
