2 WELCOME FROM OUR CHAIRMAN We would like to wish a warm welcome to all the players, officials and supporters of Styal FC for what will no doubt be a tough match in the Cheshire Premier League. If last season s encounters are anything to go by, we ll need to up our game today to get anything from the game. Styal were one of the few teams to do the double against us last season and we d be pleased if we could reverse this fact today. Our challenges this season will be stiff, as we have found in the opening games of the season. We look forward to the challenges ahead as we look to replacing the eight or nine players who left us during the close season, along with developing our fantastic Under 21 players on a progressive basis within the two Cheshire League sides on a Saturday. Several of these talented players have already been bloodied during the early encounters in the League and have been a credit to our club and the coaches in the club, who have worked with many of them over the last 10 years or so. This will be first weekend of the season where all our senior sides, the first, reserves and Under 21 s, will be in action together. This will severely test our strength as a club and we are ready for these challenges as we push on to improve our numbers of players getting involved at the club. As I have already said in previous programmes, we are committed to our planned progression and with us all working hard together and battling through these testing times, we will succeed as a stronger club. It was great to see so many supporters at our match on Wednesday against Crewe and we thank each and every one of you for your support then and also today. Without YOUR help, we cannot progress, so maybe next match, think about bringing a friend we ll then have twice as many watching!! Let's hope for a good game this evening, we value ALL your support and whatever the result we would be delighted to see you all for a drink and a bite to eat on the final whistle. John Barlow - Chairman Malpas FC A FEW WORDS FROM THE MANAGER Good afternoon to Styal FC and their supporters - what has been a very indifferent start to the season hopefully the players can produce the football I'm asking them to play. It will take time for this change but j have great belief in them. We didn't deserve anything from Wednesday nights game against a strong Crewe side. Again players are away on holidays or working so the squad has to be changed again this will hopefully settle down in the next few weeks.
