Pat Young (2-0, 3.00) is slated to make the start on the mound for the Giants tonight. Last Series San Jose lost three out of four games to the visiting Visalia Rawhide in a series that concluded last night. Visalia won the first three games of the series earning victories of 5-4 in 13 innings on Monday, 4-2 on Tuesday and 12-4 on Wednesday. The Giants avoided the sweep with a 10-9 win over the Rawhide last night. In yesterday s finale, San Jose jumped out to a 10-1 lead after three innings and then held off Visalia late to secure the victory. The Giants 10 runs were a season-high. Streaks Of Four The Giants (9-12) snapped a season-high tying four-game losing streak with last night s victory over Visalia. Prior to the losing skid, San Jose won a season-high four straight games from April after also losing four in a row from April Galindo s Power Surge Center fielder Jesus Galindo has homered in back-to-back games for the Giants his first two home runs of the season. The switch-hitter clubbed a homer batting right-handed on Wednesday before going deep as a left-handed batter last night. Prior to the game two nights ago, Galindo had hit just three career home runs in 1,226 at-bats over 5+ professional seasons. During his current five-game hitting streak, Galindo is 12-for-24 (.500) with three doubles, two home runs and three RBI s.
