Showers of thanks to Jim & Judy Taylor for including CRDA's dances on the Denver Square Dancing website calendar. The website is: The council calendar is at: We are very excited to be joining with the Denver area clubs having all dances on one calendar. This sounds like a great way for everyone to find dances. Check it out! A shower of fun will be had at the April Fun Dance on Sunday, April 10, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:30 pm at The Carriage Stop in Colorado Springs (2700 Robinson Street). Milo Ferry and Patrick Krause will be cueing. A Sunday afternoon in April is so nice to take a drive to Colorado Springs! Hope to see you there! CRDA will be having a Board of Directors meeting on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Rose Hill Grange (4001 E. 68 th in Commerce City). Snacks are at 9:30 am and the meeting will start at 10:00 am. You are welcome to attend and share your ideas with the board. CRDA's annual Spring Dance on Sunday, May 22, 2011 in Boulder at the Avalon Ballroom from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The program will be Phase II & III and a few Phase IV dances. Please help us encourage new round dancers to attend. CRDA gives a discount to the Spring Dance for new round dancers, and we give them a free CRDA membership for the rest of the year. This dance is also great for the square dance level round dancers. Your favorite CRDA cuers will be cueing a fun dance on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in the Rockies. You can purchase tickets at the door. There is a downloadable flyer on CRDA's website. Did they take that extra step and become involved in Galas, committees, the Board of Directors or cue? Did they make a difference in the sport of Round Dance, especially in Colorado? Did CRDA or round dancing grow or change because of them? If you can say yes to any of these Questions, the CRDA Hall of Fame Committee is looking for them.
