9 TIGER SOCCER The boy s soccer team currently has a record of 6-5 with wins against Westville, Sequoyah Claremore, Stilwell, Drumright, Glenpool, and Summit Christian. Losses include Claremore, Wright Christian, Fort Gibson, Verdigris, and Miami. In district play they have a record of 2-2. The boys have improved substantially over last year s season of 2-8. Jesus Covarrubias leads the Tiger soccer team in scoring with 10 goals this season. 12 P AGE 12 The Lady Tiger and Tiger track teams have had a great season so far. Recently, the girls 4x100 meter relay broke the meet record at the Lucky 7 Conference meet held here at Commerce. Their time was Members of the relay include Delaney Ballard, Jacey Knight, Taylor Stevenson, and Haley Barker. The boy s mile relay team is ranked second in the state. Those members include Braden Smith, Israel Ortiz, Tre Riggs, and Bryson Sullivan. They have been cut short of two track meets due to rain, but that isn t slowing them down any. Both the boys and girls teams won the Regional track meet on Saturday, April 30 at Catoosa.
