On the following pages you will find: The 4th of our 5th recital related documents which includes the Ticket ordering information, dress rehearsal times & schedule, DVD order form, and flower order form. The last page contains all upcoming recital related dates.

2 TICKET SALES Moves is committed to offering our students and their families a high quality dance recital. With this commitment we choose to provide a full production of performances at a professional level, which includes special high-end lighting, sound & a full stage production crew at a prestigious local Theatre. This year we have chosen the beautiful, Batavia Fine Arts Center. The ticket fees are based on theater rental and production costs. Batavia Fine Arts Center is located at: 1201 Main St. Batavia, IL Below you will find all ticket sale rules & information. Step by step Instructions for Ticket Sale Purchasing are on the second page. ONLINE TICKET SALES WILL OPEN ON FRIDAY, MAY 10:00am (ALL TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE) - Tickets are $23 Please note: Tickets will be $25 ($2 service fee added) when ordering your tickets via the BFAC box office in person or over the phone. The box office number is: All seating is reserved (you will select the seats you are purchasing) - Tickets may not be purchased if you have an outstanding balance on your family s account - If you encounter any difficulties or questions while purchasing your tickets, please contact the BFAC Box Office Directly at: Moves Dance Studio does not provide or handle ticket sales. - May 11th & May 12th will be PRIVATE SALES: Only student families participating in recital may purchase tickets During these 2 days, you will need to use your address that MOVES HAS ON FILE when purchasing your tickets. If you do not use that specific address you will not be able to purchase tickets. After that date any address may be used. *please note this is the address that you receive Moves Billing Invoices - The first 2 days of ticket sales: Student Families will be limited to purchasing a maximum of 5 tickets. This includes your student ticket(s) if purchasing (only during the May 11th & May 12th dates). This is to ensure every family has an opportunity to purchase tickets in the event we sell out Moves Dance Studio has provided a list of addresses to the BFAC (per their requirement to provide online ticket sales) of recital participants. This is to ensure all families abide by the 5 max ticket limit for these 2 days. Only one address per family was provided to the BFAC for them to create your individual account and to again ensure all sales are fair - May 13th will be opened up for unlimited purchasing. At that time, you may purchase as many tickets as you would like and it will also open up to the public - Tickets will remain available from May 11th through the day of the show providing we do not sell out the performance - All patrons must have their OWN seat/purchased ticket. No lap sitting

3 - Registered Moves Students in any of the following leveled classes will NOT be required to purchase a ticket: Thursday Boys Hip Hop, ANY: age 7-9, Level I, II or III classes. These students will be asked to stay backstage during the show Backstage procedures will be provided in one of the upcoming recital packets Dependent on ticket sales, we may open up a student seating section in the balcony where these students may view the show. If we are close to capacity or sell out, we will not be able to provide the above, mentioned student seating section. If you would like your student to sit with you during the show, you may purchase them a ticket at full price. - Registered Moves students in any of the following classes MUST purchase a Student ticket for $13: Tutu 2 s, Itty Bitties, Twinkle Toes, Hippity Hop, Saturday Boys Hip Hop, Acro Minis & Mighty Movers This is strictly for supervision reasons which is why these will be provided at a discounted rate. These students must remain with a parent/chaperone when they are not backstage. Please note: you may NOT stay backstage with them in place of purchasing a ticket. *Procedures for checking your dancer in and out of the dressing room area will be provided in one of the upcoming recital packets You will be sent an directly from: bataviafineartscenter@gmail.com sometime between May 7th & May 10th. BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR THIS & DO NOT DELETE. This will contain your student seating promo code that you will enter AT CHECKOUT to receive the student ticket price. The $10 will come off the normal $23 ticket price AFTER you enter the code. If you have more than 1 student in any of the Tutu 2 s, Itty Bitties, Twinkle Toes, Hippity Hop, Saturday Boys Hip Hop, Acro Minis & Mighty Movers you will be provided only ONE coupon code for your family. (It will contain the total discount, ie: 2 eligible students = $20 discount). Make sure you purchase your Moves Student(s) ticket with your seats. 4 DRESS REHEARSAL ALL STUDENS MUST ATTEND DRESS REHEARSAL Dress rehearsal is designed for students to practice their dance on stage in full costume, learn backstage procedures and how to line up backstage as well as become more comfortable in the theater setting prior to show day. Our stage crew is also setting lights and sound to ensure the most professional show for you, your student and the audience! LOCATION: Batavia Fine Arts Center Main St. Batavia, IL DATE: JUNE 8 th 2018 TIME: Please see the dress rehearsal schedule on the following pages. This is your child s REHEARSAL and corresponding ARRIVAL time. The show will run much quicker than the dress rehearsal. PARENTS: Only ONE parent is allowed per dancer/family in the theater during dress rehearsal. Family and friends must view on show day. You are responsible for your child(ren) at all times during dress rehearsal. DRESS REHEARSAL: Please arrive by your designated arrival time located on the dress rehearsal schedule. STUDENTS MUST ARRIVE STAGE READY: HAIR, MAKEUP, COSTUME & DANCE SHOES ON. Please enter the theater and find the row of seats labeled with your child s class. Students should sit in this row until a Moves faculty member escorts the class backstage for their stage time. Parents of younger students may sit with their child in their assigned row. ONLY MOVES FACULTY AND STUDENTS REHEARSING WILL BE ALLOWED BACKSTAGE. Please make sure students use the bathroom prior to their arrival time. Please bring all costume pieces, tights and shoes with you to dress rehearsal. We recommend bringing hairspray, bobbi pins and makeup as well for touchups. DRESSING ROOMS: There will be a large female dressing room available for students to change costumes if needed. There will also be a designated male dressing room. FINALE DANCE: Please note that the Finale dance will rehearse in the middle of each dress rehearsal: Wheaton 12:45-1:00pm (Arrival 12:25pm) North Aurora 6:35-6:50pm (Arrival 6:15pm) DADDY/DAUGHTER DANCE: Please note that Daddy/Daughter Dance will also rehearse in the middle of rehearsal. Dancers participating should attend this rehearsal time. Dads please attend if you are available Wheaton 1:00-1:15pm (Arrival 12:40pm) North Aurora 6:50-7:00pm (Arrival 6:30pm) **PLEASE NOTE: We do our best to stick to our assigned schedules, however, we may run slightly behind schedule at times. This is due to us providing you with the most professional lighting and sound for your performances and can sometimes take the sound/light crews time to make adjustments to ensure everything runs smoothly on performance day. We do our very best to get caught back up on time. We appreciate your patience and understanding in knowing we want to provide you with the best possible recital.

5 QUICK CHANGES: Please notify us at if your child has 2 numbers or less to change their costume. There will be a quick-change dressing room located back stage. Please be sure to practice your quick change at dress rehearsal so that you will not be stressed the day of the show. Please notify the backstage staff of your quick-change the day of dress rehearsal so that they may set you up in the quick-change room. Ms. Amy will be there to assist any dancer with a quick change. Once students have rehearsed their dance(s) on stage they are free to leave. PLEASE BE SURE TO LABEL YOUR CHILD S DANCE SHOES, COSTUMES, ACCESSORIES AND OTHER BELONGINGS WITH THEIR NAME. Moves Dance Studio and the Batavia Fine Arts Center are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Lost and Found will be located at the Moves Merchandise booth during dress rehearsal and recital days.
