We have an exciting event for teens this spring! School dances and prom are a wonderful experience but very expensive to attend. This spring, the library will be holding a Fairy Godmother Shoppe! And you don t have to have an evil stepmother to get into the action. We will be providing a special day of pampering and prom preparation on Saturday, March 28 from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. Teens can try out new make up looks, paint nails and more! Personal shoppers will be on hand to help high schoolers find the perfect (gently used) dress. Do you have a dress or jewelry to donate? Would you like to help out as a personal shopper? 3 Storytimes & Reading Programs Mondays with Miss Donna Mondays at 10:30 a.m. Through April 27 This traditional but flexible drop-in storytime is a great option for siblings of various ages and is followed by an exploratory art activity. Mother Goose & Babies Storytime Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. Through April 28 This storytime focuses on short, interactive segments, adult-child bonding and repetition to optimize learning and language development. Ages 0-2. Bilingual Playgroup Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. Through April 29 This fun and varied storytime features stories and songs in Spanish and English. Book Bonanza with Miss Maggie Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. Through April 30 This toddler storytime is up-close and personal featuring high energy, shorter stories, lots of motion, and an exploratory art activity. Friday-Palooza Storytime Fridays at 10:30 a.m. Through May 1 This family storytime celebrates reading with a party atmosphere and a collaborative craft. Ages 3+ but younger siblings welcome. 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Year-round family reading incentive program. Children will be rewarded with incentives for read-aloud time with their families. Infants-age 4. Kids & Families Registration is required for all youth, tween and teen events. Ages for youth events are just a suggestion; please use your discretion as to your child s level. Lego Time First Saturday of the Month at 2 p.m. A monthly open build block party. Under 5 must be accompanied by a parent.
