4 Do you have ideas on celebrating Canada's 150 birthday with our Park community? Volunteers needed for Family Activities on Canada Day: Looking for up to 4 volunteers to assist with family activities on Canada Day. We are looking to do a family mini putt game after lunch on Canada Day. We need someone to plan and carry out this event. We are hoping to have a couple of individuals to assist with some small items around lunch time. If you can give a couple of hours, contact jfalconer@quadro.net. Don't be shy...what is your idea? Attention fellow gardeners...just a reminder to let the office know of your intentions to prepare your garden area and keep it maintained. We have several areas and are hoping last years volunteers will continue on and new volunteers will come on board. If you have material needs for the gardens please advise us prior to purchasing. Special thanks to our garden volunteers of 2016! Near the end of the 2016 season, Mary Dufour single handedly tackled the Kettle Garden redevelopment. It was a backbreaking task and we are excited to see this gardens revival this year. Thanks to you Mary and others... Failure to maintain liability insurance places the shareholder as a member not in good standing terminating all their voting rights. THE VETS PLEDGE CONTINUES 2017 EDITION Due to your generous donation to The Vets Pledge in 2016, we were able to have a prize package enticing enough that people donated a total of $ over the summer months to the Goderich Legion Branch 109. We, at Wildwood, hope we can count on your support in 2017 when we choose another veteran s cause because they deserve it. In the show case located inside the Rec Hall you will see a number of items that you will have the opportunity to win through your donations to the Vet Pledge. Firstly, you will see a silent auction item a Sorrel Ladies winter coat. This auction will run until 6:00 p.m. on August 06 / 17. It is a woman s large coat and cannot be exchanged but I am sure you will find a worthy individual to accept this exquisite gift. Simply fill in the information on the sheet, including your bid and hopefully you will win this item. Secondly, you will also see a prize package which you can donate $ 2, $ 5, or $ towards the more you donate the better chance you have of winning this package. I will be giving you updates as to the value of this package as the summer rolls along. The draw for this item will be held at our Labour Day shareholders meeting. Your Vets thank you in advance.
