In exchange for donations we will enter your name into a draw on a prize package valued at no less than $ Donations of $ 2.00 / $ 5.00 or $ will give you an increased opportunity to win the prize package. Since last fall, we have welcomed a good number of new Members to the Park. We are glad you have chosen to call this your home away from home. As with any member organizations, we have rules that we observe. Familiarizing yourself with these policies and following them, is a term of your membership. The Board of Directors and staff, have been working throughout the winter and spring months, to get things ready for our upcoming season. At the Member meeting, this Sunday, May 20 th, we will have an overview on these items for information and consideration by the members. All Members should be in attendance at these meetings. For our new members, we meet the Sunday morning of long weekends, from May to September. The Park relies on Volunteers to assist in many areas of Park operation and maintenance. Ongoing Volunteer activities (and lead volunteers) include: Board of Directors, elected positions (August) (Tom Falconer, President) Recreation/event committee (Gary Sitton, Chair) Gardening group (Individuals take on specific gardens) Building (Paul Roelofson, Paul Grove, Building inspectors) Recycling (Paul Roelofson, Group lead) Other task groups are formed, as needed.
