Church continues to be a centre to receive cloing and household goods as e difficulties still continue and e need is great. Thank you I'd like to say a huge ank you to everyone in Kirkby and Great Broughton. My family and I have been overwhelmed by e support and kindness you have shown during Pat's ongoing illness. 6 Christian Aid CHRISTIAN AID WEEK MAY Come and join us for delicious home -made soup on Sat May 12 from 12 noon to 2pm. Children are welcome. There is no fixed charge but donations will be appreciated. You will find an envelope in is newsletter for your donation. A CONCERT /VARIETY EVENING SEPTEMBER 29 Thank you to ose people who have already offered eir talents but we would like more volunteers to take part. All are welcome to join us to hear about Goddards in York, e home of e Terry family. Free for members, 3 for visitors; tea and coffee after e talk. Many will have admired e World War II memorial window in its new position in GB Village Hall, back-lit to show its striking colours, and we would welcome help wi researching e six people memorialised on e window.
