5 Written and Narrated by Barbara Bright It is my understanding that the Executive Officers have each published a How to book based on their vast experiences and knowledge. 1. Jeanell Spearman, Carol Labardini and Sally Burchell are our Newbies and will be heading up the Nine Hole Group. (They have yet to write a book due to their lack of experience.) 2. JANICE HUDSON (Secretary) has written a book entitled Letters from the Rich and Famous Elkins Lake Members or was it infamous? 3. BILLIE NEELY (Treasurer), after being cleared from the alleged ponzi scheme, has a book called How to Squeeze Blood From a Turnip or Get Money From Old Ladies. 4. RITA WARNER s (Rules Chairman) book is entitled How to Get Women to Remember a Golf Rule When They Can t Even Remember What Hole They Start On! 5. JUDY TANNER s (Tournament Chairman) book is called How Many Glasses of Wine Does it Take to Recover from a Play Day? 6. MARILYN GODWIN (Secretary) wrote a tell all account named Interesting Adventures of 2016 based on embarrassing accounts. 7. NITA PICKENS (President), after much debate and soul searching, has written How to Convince All These Old Women That She Is Really a Shy Retiring and Quiet Gal! Not!

6 Shirley Leonard, Winner of the Silent Auction s Dessert of the Month, Was Presented on December 2nd With Her First Dessert, A Christmas Trifle, Made by Wanda McGhee Membership Dues Are Now Payable Make your check in the amount of $50 payable to the ELWGA. You may put your check in the slotted drawer in the ladies lounge or mail it to Treasurer Billie Neely at 633 Elkins Lake, Huntsville, TX If you wish to join the Hole-in-One Club, you may include $5 with your membership dues. There will be no scheduled regular play days in January. Regular play days will resume on Tuesday, February 7th. Remember, you must establish by the first play day whether you will compete for the year as a 9-Holer or an 18-Holer. If you have any questions, please contact Judy Tanner at or judylovesgolf@yahoo.com.
