2 Memberships This is a reminder that all memberships will be processed at the Sun n Lake Pool. Starting March 11th registration & renewal hours are from 8am - 7:00pm, Monday - Friday and 11am-7:00pm Saturday & Sunday. This includes pool, fitness and racquet club memberships. Community Center rentals will also be completed at the Pool office and taken by appointment. Please call with any questions. It s that time of year again for lots of fun in the sun! When the time changes, our pool hours also change. Starting March 11th the pool will be open from 11am-7pm, 7 days a week! Call with any questions. The Sun n Lake Book Club meets at 2pm the 2nd Tuesday of each month, October through April in the Community Center. All readers are welcome to attend! What is Pickleball? Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. Played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net. It is played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes and can be played as doubles or singles. 4 Highlands County Opens New EMS/Fire Station On January 23 rd, Highlands County held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new EMS/Fire Station located off of Sun n Lake Blvd. Highlands County had several Commissioners in attendance and EMS/Fire personnel. Florida Hospital also had representatives in attendance, including their new CEO Randy Surber and Sun n Lake was well represented with Board of Supervisors Mike Gilpin, Mark Camp and Ray Brooks. Tanya Cannady, General Manager of Sun n Lake Improvement District was asked to cut the official ribbon. It is the goal of Sun 'n Lake to do our part for the environment and Go Green whenever possible. Join us in our effort by opting to receive your Utility Bill online. Sun 'n Lake's Board Supervisor Gilpin made a hole-in-one on February 2nd while participating in the Florida Hospital Foundation Gala Golf Tournament!
