There is a 2-day minimum commitment for Marshals and Crowd Control positions Tuesday, July 10- Sunday, July 15, Those who volunteer for three or more days and/or Sunday will be given priority for requests. 2. Standard Bearers and Leader Boards are required to work Friday, July 13-Sunday, July Walking Scorers and Walking Marshals are required to work Thursday, July 12 Sunday, July 15. a. Those who volunteer for additional days from there their positon requirement will be scheduled as marshals. b. Those who apply for walking scorer, standard bearer, walking marshal or leader boards that are not needed at their requested position will be scheduled as marshals. 3 Marshal (Needed: Tuesday - Sunday) Marshal is the most needed positions as it represents the majority of volunteer positions for the tournament. Marshals are assigned to specific holes at the tournament. The hole captain will assign a marshal to the tee, hole or along the hole fairway. Their role is to spot balls along the fairway, to make certain play is not interrupted and that the gallery is quiet and respectful during play. This is a relatively stationary position. Two-day minimum commitment. Those who volunteer for three or more days and/or Sunday of the tournament will be given priority for requests. Crowd Control (Needed: Tuesday - Sunday) Crowd control is the second most need position at the tournament. Crowd control is stationed at key locations like the tunnel to the locker room, the putting and driving range, etc. Their role is to make certain that only those with the proper credentials enter the closed area. This is a relatively stationary position. Walking Marshals (Needed: Thursday - Sunday) Walking marshals walk the course with the standard bearers, walking scorers and celebrities. Fitness to walk about four miles comfortably is needed. The walking marshal s role is to help spot balls along the fairway, make certain the celebrities are not disturbed during play and help the celebrities walk from the green to the next tee without disruption. Thursday through Sunday commitment. Leader Board (Needed: Friday - Sunday) Leader Board Communicates with scorers to post scores on the leader board that communicates tournament leaders to the gallery. You must be comfortable working on an elevated platform. This requires a working knowledge of golf and the scoring system. This is a relatively stationary position. Friday through Sunday commitment. Standard Bearer (Needed: Friday - Sunday) Standard Bearers walk the course with the walking marshals, walking scorers and celebrities. Fitness to walk about four miles carrying a five pound sign is needed. Standard Bearers carry the sign with the celebrity names and their scores. Some scoring knowledge is helpful. Friday - Sunday commitment. Walking Scorer (Needed: Thursday - Sunday) Walking scorers walk the course with the walking marshal, standard bearers and celebrities. Fitness to walk about four miles comfortably is needed. The walking scorer s role is to manually tabulate participant scores. Golf scoring knowledge is a requirement. Thursday - Sunday commitment. Scoring Trailer (Needed: Friday - Sunday) Scoring people must have scoring knowledge and good math skills. Scoring people are seated in a trailer and keep track of the official tournament scoring. This is a stationary position. Friday - Sunday commitment. Runner (Needed: Friday - Sunday) A Runner is a walking position on the course performing tasks for the Scoring Chairman. Friday - Sunday commitment.

5 2018 VOLUNTEER UNIFORM & ADDITIONAL ITEMS A 2018 Tournament Uniform is required for all volunteers. Please note shirts are available in both men s and women s sizes. Please mark your appropriate size and any additional items you may want to order. Volunteer Package Price includes uniform, admission, complimentary tickets, lunch, snacks and beverages, plus the Saturday Volunteer Party. Golf Shirts are relaxed fit. Shells Jackets are a regular fit.
