2 Try your luck at the 6th annual TROUT FISHING DERBY Always a great way to start the summer season. Grab your pole and meet at the Village Pond. No pole, no bait, no problem! Our friends at Idaho Fish and Game will be there with everything the kids need including instruction to catch, clean and cook those beauties. Always fun for the whole family! 6 Fly fishing Clinic FREE!! Your instructor, Elkhorn resident Jack Jackson, is a retired, licensed and certified fly fishing guide. This is a two day clinic, approximately 90 minutes per session. Instruction will include rod assembly, basic knot tying and casting. Attendees can bring their own rod or one will be provided. Information packets will be provided as well. Saturday July 28th and Sunday July 29th Patty Rosewater Park 10:00 AM both morning. Class size is limited so sign up early. Water Aerobics - Village Pool Mondays &Thursdays - July 2 - Aug 23-9:00 AM - 10:00 AM This fun water workout burns mega calories and tones trouble spots. Everyone can participate regardless of size, shape or fitness level with minimal impact on your joints. Instructor Katie Connor is ready to get your heart pumping and your muscles moving. Sandie loves to share her passion for this sport and to introduce it to others. Archery is an activity everyone can enjoy and all levels are welcome. The Patty Rosewater Park is right next door. The pool will be open through September 3rd weather permitting. Fully staffed with lifeguards. The Village Pool opens Saturday June 16, Adult lap swimming 8:00 AM to Noon Open swim Noon to 8:00 PM This pool will stay open through September, weather permitting. Children supervised by a responsible adult, may access the pool at 10AM Monday through Friday. The children will be restricted to a roped off area during adult lap swim hours. There will be no lifeguards on duty at any time. Attendants will be available to check in owners and guests and provide towels. The Village also has an outdoor hot tub,a steam room and a sauna 5B Swim Team The 5B Swim Team invites Elkhorn youth, 14-18, to participate in training with the team. This is a great opportunity to enhance your swimming skills. For the safety of our owners and guests, the association adheres to national safety guidelines and will close the pool and changing rooms anytime there is lightning in the area. This action, at times, is met with frustration by pool users. Your cooperation and understanding during these unavoidable instances is greatly appreciated.
