For the safety of our members and their guests, when lightning is within a 5 mile radius, the siren will sound letting everyone on the premises know that the course will be closed at that time. Everyone must leave the course once the siren has been sounded. The clubhouse is your safe haven. Thank you for your cooperation. Brickyard Management Jeans, cutoffs, gym shorts, and tee shirts are not allowed. Tennis shoes and golf shoes with soft spikes are appropriate. A no cell phone policy is encouraged in the clubhouse. Golf News & Events From The Pro Fall is right around the corner, although you wouldn t know it by the recent weather.

With more play, we need to make sure that everyone is making their tee times, so that everyone can enjoy this great course. There are several ways to make a tee time.

By making tee times and sticking to them, we are better able to serve the members properly; it ensures there are plenty of carts and range balls.

6 Golf News & Events From The Pro Fall is right around the corner, although you wouldn t know it by the recent weather. We are right in the middle of golf season and have achieved our goal of 400 members; with a membership this size we have more play and rounds. With more play, we need to make sure that everyone is making their tee times, so that everyone can enjoy this great course. There are several ways to make a tee time. The 1st option is to call the Pro Shop and speak to us to book your time. Option 2 is to make your tee time online at the Brickyard website. Tee times can be made up to 10 days in advance. By making tee times and sticking to them, we are better able to serve the members properly; it ensures there are plenty of carts and range balls. Please check in with the Pro Shop before playing, this is crucial to help us track cart fee charges and number of rounds. We can also ensure #1 & #10 tees are clear and ready for play without creating log jams with multiple groups waiting. Five-some's are permitted here at the Brickyard, as long as pace of play is adhered to, however, this is the maximum number of players allowed per group. Playing 6, 7 or 8, no matter the format (scramble, alternate shot, etc.) is not allowed and I will address it with your group and split you into the proper number of players per group. Golf News & Events Golf Course Superintendent Briane Faletto I hope everyone is enjoying the last of the summer months. The kids are back in school and football season is here!

The rain has slowed down and has returned to the normal weather pattern for the summer. There are some areas that look really dry throughout the course, especially along the wood lines.

8 Golf News & Events Golf Course Superintendent Briane Faletto I hope everyone is enjoying the last of the summer months. The kids are back in school and football season is here!!! The temperatures should start to fall which means the grass will start to slow it s growth. We have been keeping a fresh cut in all areas and cleaning up all clippings after cutting. The rain has slowed down and has returned to the normal weather pattern for the summer. There are some areas that look really dry throughout the course, especially along the wood lines. This is caused by armyworms. This time of the year is usually when they appear and they were rather heavy. The necessary steps have been taken to control them. The roughs have also been sprayed for Kylinga & Sedge weeds, that were appearing throughout the course. Winter pre-emerge will be applied this month to control the pesky winter weeds. Please remember to repair your divots and ball marks, and rake your footprints in the bunkers. Keep in mind that others are playing behind you! Enjoy the course!! The Dixie was concluded in August, with the defending Champions, Jon David Kennedy & Shawn Hodge winning the title at 26 under par, or 190. Brickyard member, David Steed and his partner, Taylor Floyd finished runner-up at 193. Zac Tilton, Briane Faletto, Larry Simpson and their staff provided fantastic service, fabulous food and a great golf course; all of them did a wonderful job. 9 Club News Thank You to the Dixie Sponsors Your support is very much appreciated!! Dues Payment Policy Payments on membership accounts are due by the 10th of each month. Any unpaid account at the end of each month will incur a finance charge of 1.5% of the total balance due and a $25.00 late fee will be billed to your account. If accounts are 60 days past due, the club shall suspend the members charging privileges. If accounts are 90 days past due, the club has the right to terminate the membership. There is a policy that No Personal Coolers are allowed. If you like to enjoy beverages while you are on the course, the Club will provide you with a Brickyard cooler at no charge. Please do not bring any alcohol onto our premises. A $20 charge is incurred if the cooler is not returned. Thank you for your cooperation.
