From humble beginnings to the current global event, the SCORE Baja 500 has attracted the world s best racers and teams to participate in what has been described as one of the Top Motorsports Races in the world! We have been investing in the future of the SCORE International racing organizational structure and marketing assets to make sure all the building blocks are set to guarantee the success that is expected for the SCORE Baja 500 s 50th Anniversary. Growing to the legendary four race series by 1975 with the nucleus of today s globally known races as the SCORE Baja 500 and SCORE Baja 1000 were firmly anchored in the hearts and minds of off-road and racing enthusiasts around the world. Sal Fish would be the next SCORE President to take this new racing entity to the next level where he would guide this global treasure for the next 3 year, firmly establishing the SCORE International and race brands, SCORE Baja 1000, SCORE Baja 500, SCORE San Felipe 250, as well as additional core race venues founded by SCORE International and other racing venues for the off-road enthusiasts and racers. Roger Norman, astute business man and Trophy Truck Champion and Baja 1000 overall winner, then took control in December 2012 and applied new business practices with the addition of today s available technology to grow the exposure for SCORE Racers, Sponsors and for off-road motorsports in general.
