HOG members are encouraged to get out and log as many miles as possible on this day. Our Chapter took a small group on a round trip to Waco to meet up with the HOG Regional Direct Valerie Ledterman who was riding down I 35 from the National HOG Rally in OKC. We each clocked about 373 miles that day. Over all the total miles rode for all HOG members across the globe was in excess of 4.3 million miles. Way to go HOG! 2010, April 16, 17, 18 Twisted Sister Ride: The room blocks are now open at the YO Ranch Resort. Call and mention the HOG Block when requesting rooms. We will be joining a chapter from Ft. Worth to ride the three Twisted Sisters out of Kerrville. If you missed the ride this year it is surely one ride not to miss next year. Our challenge is to have as many members in attendances as the Ft Worth Chapter! So sign up early, sign up often! Yellow Rose of Texas State Rally September 24-26, Please pre register at the above web site early and sign up for volunteering. Last years rally was a huge success mainly do the hard work of volunteers, many from this chapter. One very unique feature of this year s rally is that the logo and name were borrowed from the Confederate Air Force wing station in San Marcos. Residing at the airport is the WWII B-25 bomber called the Yellow Rose The museum is open year around and is a great place to take a short ride to. During the rally individuals will be able to book flights on this flying museum. The B-25 will also serve as the backdrop to the rally group photo.
